The facilities are very good and helpful.
Classrooms are big and lab rooms are in mint condition.

Course Curriculum Overview :

i always wanted to be a software engineer so I appeared in the jee mains and wbjee exams to get a chance to study at the best engineering colleges and after admission in RCCIIT i was very happy. The courses and subjects selection for each respective course are very necessary from an engineering aspect as well as a real world based application. The exams held are under MAKAUT mandates which is not very hard and can be easy scoring.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 375000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities depend on the students level of knowledge and experience, if the student is capable there are opportunities provided by the college or they can get internship from outside with the permission of college.

Placement Experience :

Most of the students get placement in very renowned companies like PWC, TCS, COGNIZANT, RAKUTEN, INFOSYS, IBM etc. Mass recruitments happen and around 90% of the students get placed by the year they pass out.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For Computer Science Engineering my fees was all total of 360000 for 4 years in 2021 which was the highest considering all the other courses. There are scholarships available but not from college directly, one can apply for SVMCM scholarship if they meet the criteria and all these scholarships are facilitated by college's scholarship cell.

Campus Life :

College life at RCCIIT is really good. There are various events and festivals all around the year. There are cultural and technical events and the biggest of them all is the annual festival Regalia. Students can participate in all of these events and enjoy as much as they want.

Admission :

Admission was very smooth, I got cse for having 6000 rank in wbjee, the cutoff for CSE was 15000 in wbjee during my admission and 25000 for IT, apart from these other departments like ece, aeie, ee took students till 35000 wbjee rank. I didn't have any sort of reservation but it didn't bother my admission. There were no seperate exam for admission, only jee and wbjee entrance exams were considered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. Exams are scheduledd but may prove to need extra assistane for comprehension of some of the contents.

The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. The percentage of student getting placement is around 60-70% and the average package is around 4-5lakhs per annum. The highest package got by a student previous year was around ?10lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
