I like fashion club and sports activities.I myself started playing archery.
There is no ragging in our College.seniors are quite helpful and they provide us notes and all.

Dislikes

I don't like the breakfast of our mess.that was too oily and unhealthy.
I don't like that in our hostle they don't provide us the w seater rooms .they only provide us 4,3 seater.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In 1st semester we have physics , maths, engineering drawing, mechanical workship, physics lab, humanity.maths faculty was superp but I don't like physics faculty may be I am weak in physics that's why.i like that in course our college introduce humanity.we learned a lot of new things and we have also soft skill.

Class Size : 67Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As I am in first year right now.so I don't have much idea about the internship opportunities but there are some seniors in third and fourth year who told me about internship college provide internship in third year .

Placement Experience :

Average college placement.campanies came in our college but this year due to recession a lot of good students do not get placed.But students quality are very good so they are trying for off campus placement and get a very good job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In 4 year btech course, we have to spend 4 lakh for course fee and 7000 per month for hostle fee. I don't know about the scholarship program.but bank provide us the loan in interest and the bank belongs to our college campus

Campus Life :

There was a lot of clubs which is quite active like fashion club sports nss drama club robotics Infrastructure is average and quite clean Social life is also very chill there was labour's side to chill out with friends

Hostel Facilities :

There are 3 types of hostle in our campus for girls and there is no hostle for boys one hostle outside the campus for girls.one hostle for 7 thousand wnd one for 6500 and 3rd one for 6000 .hostle names are quite good .if talking about the facility food is quite good but not clean all the rooms .there are a lot of pg outside the college and for boys there is famous modern boys hostle.

Hostel Fee : INR 84000 per year

Admission :

I cleared wbjee entrance exam and got 5081 rank in wbjee 2023 and got cse-AIML department.if u want to take admission in heritage institute of technology kolkata then you have to clear whether wbjee,jee mains exam and 10% special quota for management student.if you clear the respective exams then there is a councelling process.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.
