Course Curriculum Overview :
I have done my graduation in history so that made me to choose the history for my master's too the curriculum is very influenced in nature because it has those kinds of context where it's related to learn more even for the contemporary world..The teaching methods in this particular subject is very interesting where they used slides PPT and when required maps for easy pointing towards..All the faculty conducts the seminars for easy understanding of repeated topics by the students this makes the subject more easier to remember...There r many pros than the cons in wlthe way of teaching the subject in our particular subject in our university...The exams are conducted twice for a year of 2year course where it will be in descriptive mode for about 3hours in a day every answer was alloted some weightage of marks such 10 or 15 or sometimes 20 marks too...The difficulty level is moderate itself in exams where we are understanding the concept makes us to write lots of matter for every question.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is varied for every department for my department my fee structure was about 35000 per annum including all the mess charges hostel fees and the tutions fees apart they ask for every semester to pay around 300rs for each semester as exam fees..There are scholarship based on different things such scores in entrances scores in semester etc..
Campus Life :
Recently the infrastructure is developed in our university where we got the new hostel buildings to stay the campus socialising life was completely different where I feel I cannot find anywhere else..There are different activities going on competitions cultural etc everything happens in time...Clubs organisations all will be runned by students without any disturbances most of the times...
Hostel Facilities :
Facilities in our hostel is good enough as we got new hostel buildings when it comes to technology we are lacking with wifi facilities as it's a forested area...The meal was good enough but for that prices was too high..The registration for hostel process was based on the location we stay and the process is easy enough the affordability is little bit hard for me but it's fair enough...I do stay in campus hostel itself..
Admission :
The admission process was quiet easy. Graduation from any university from all over India is valid with 50 percent of marks at ug level to get pg level seat. Every year nta conducts this exam called cuet if the required subject has the minimum score which satisfies the specified University then we get the seat in that particular University of that particular subject...Seats are also based on reservation such 27percent is for OBC category where the creamy layer and non creamy layer plays a role the locals of that particular University state gets about 20percent of reservation in the same way 15 percent for sc and st reserved categories and 10percent for ews category is well equipped for getting the seat in a particular University...The difficulty of the exam is based on the subject probably it will be in moderate stage itself than been more difficult..The exam is for 2hours in a computer based mode where all the questions are answered in objective mode itself and there is negative mark..
