Pondicherry University was the best part of my life and I am missing that life badly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The subject of Chemistry has the greatest attraction at Pondicherry University. The faculties in the Department are highly qualified and they provide us the path to reach our goal of life. The path they have shown in the field of research is quite Adorable and it enhanced our research skills in Chemistry.

Class Size : 48Course Fees : INR 18000 per year

Placement Experience :

There are a lot of companies which visited our department. The Sri Ram fibers and Spi global limited were two companies that came to my department during my MSc period.

College Events :

So many events are celebrated in the university. As students from every corner of India study there, various functions are being celebrated by all the community. The unity shown by students is really adorable. The onam celebration, the Ugadi Celebration, the Utkal divas celebration and Durga puja add charm to the university environment.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is quite affordable for our department. The hostel fee is quite cheeped also. My admission fee was 18000 and then the hostel admission fee was also 700 only for one year. The admission is based on the score you have gained in the entrance examination.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The top ten students in the entrance examination get the scholarship here. The annual income of parents should be below 2 lakh for this scholarship.

Campus Life :

The life in Pondicherry University campus is a boon to Every student. Every student who has studied here will never forget the life he had got. Gender equality is one of the best aspects of pondicherry University campuses. Students from all corners of India enjoy campus life.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is really good. The food is really good. The hostel day functions add charm to hostel life. The campus is really good. With 24 hours wifi facility, the hostel life was amazing. There is also scope for entertainment and indoor games inside the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our seniors are cooperative and every year the passed out students arrange to get together. The alumni meet and some programs are really appreciable things.

Admission :

As I have passed out my BSc degree in Chemistry I had a plan to have the highest degree in my subject. Love for chemistry takes me to the pondicherry University where I got admission in MSc Chemical Science. I attended the entrance examination of pondicherry University and qualified and got admission.

Faculty :

The faculty of the Department were really nice and cooperative. They provide us useful information regarding higher studies and provide us the path of success. They tell us to build our careers in the research area and development of Science and Technology.

My Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I'm studying is Disaster Management. The course structure is perfect with knitting our knowledge in disasters both in scientific aspects as well as social aspects. The GIS course is really appreciative as this will be further useful fo us students as a future disaster manager. Though the field practices are less, we will be having a project only semester during our last sem.

Fee structure of Ph.D in Department of Biotechnology, Pondicherry University

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good, matching with international standards. NEP 2020 is also followed in this campus. As this is matching international standards mean that it is good for future also. Teacher will teach with power point presentations and you have to give power point presentation for internal assessment and monthly test evaluation will be done. Internal examination value is 40% and end semester value is 60%. If you studied well you will score good. Average marking is 8.2 CGPA in department of Biotechnology.

Pondicherry university - Msc applied psychology

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is very light for applied psychology in this university. There are only 3 semesters which have written exams. The last semester is just project and viva.One factor i liked about the curriculum is that in the third semester we can choose our specialty based on our interests.there are 3 options counselling clinical and industrial psychology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I chose had a lot of relevance in the filed of evolving man health. Also the soft courses provided by the department was fabulous. Teachers and Lab facilities are also well equipped. The difficulty of the exams corresponds to the way one should improve themselves.
