Course Curriculum Overview :
Wanted to go for CSE related course, plus Bangalore. There are 2 semesters per year and exams are based on the semesters. COurse Curriculum is up to date and covers all the essentials subjects. I have head by our faculty that people here get placed with a package of around 14PA for computer science cluster. Teachers can be a little more polite towards north Indians.
Internships Opportunities :
I personally haven't appeared for any internships as of yet, but I've been told by my seniors that it's a little tough to get on unless you are actually skilled and deserve to get one. Major companies like nutanix and Oracle recruit here as interns and also give PPOS in 90% of the cases
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for internships from any semester because it totally depends on their skills. As far as the placements are concerned, they may sit for campus placements starting from their 3rd year. Major companies that recruit: Oracle, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, atlasian, Flipkart, Amazon. Plans after Btech: workx and b school
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is more or less the same for the all 4 years with minimal increase. There are no options for scholarships here whatsoever but you can get your fees reduced if you are a kcet candidate, around 60-70k/year.
Campus Life :
Fests in BMSCE: 1.Phase Shift(Technological fest) 2.Utsav(cultural fest) 3.Srishti(Technological fest) Clubs: All major College clubs like Rotaract, IEEE, ACM and many other clubs during the phase shift event. Crowd is okayish, you can be socially very involved and happy. College is pretty small for its reputation.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel faculty could be a little more rude with you if you are from north India and could be a little sweet as well depending on their mood. The meal quality is good compared to the pgs outside the campus. The room sizes are decent for an engineering college.
Admission :
Eligibility criteria: 12th pass science(for engineering) Entrance exams: Comedk, Kcet (can also go by management quota) Reservation benefits, only for KCET candidates Difficulty: easy-medium 180 questions-180 minutes (SPEED IS THE KEY)
