  • Placement organisation: Could have been better organised

Course Curriculum Overview :

My time at this college was transformative, offering a holistic education that goes beyond textbooks. The combination of practical focus, eminent faculty, and remarkable placements make it an unparalleled choice for those aspiring to thrive in the media landscape.

Placement Experience :

Mostly all major mainstream media comes for the placement. Some of the big names like the Times group, The Hindu, Hindustan times, Zee and Network 18 group for Multimedia journalism and Bloomberg, Reuters, Busniess Today CNBC etc for Business journalism. The average package I have seen had 3.2 lack per annum. 100% placement is assured for every student who passed to course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee along with hostel was almost 7.5 lakhs. Financial aid is also provided for those who need it. It holds an amazing placement record as well. The college's strong industry connections translated into numerous opportunities, ensuring that students seamlessly transitioned into rewarding careers.

Campus Life :

The campus culture was remarkably liberal, fostering creativity and open dialogue. The PG diploma course itself was meticulously crafted, covering a diverse range of media disciplines. For all three sections of media;broadcast, new media and print, every necessary equipments and softwares are provided. The library has a wide range of collections, including first editions and provide access to all online portals from the library. Many colloquiums are conducted by the college that provides great exposure to the students. Students are given chance to attend various PM and other events as well.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility provided is actually worth the money. One room accomodates four people and one shared bathroom. Rooms are airconditoned and is cleaned and well kept by staffs everyday. Every floor has a fridge, microwave, purifier and a washing machine. The message food is also good.

Admission :

Admission process is done in two stages, first through an entrance test and then a PI. Application form is available in their website mostly within the first three months of every year. Exam isn't extremely difficult if you are updated. Decent language and GK is needed to clear the test.

Entrance Preview:

ACJ entrance exam, i scored not too good in GK but my English paper went pretty satisfying and that is why my name got listed. I opted for this college because it ranks among top 10 J-schools in India.

Placement Experience:

Almost everyone were placed. Those who were not placed in the last months, faculties were kind enough to give some contacts or links to apply asnd so in a span of 2-3 months, everyone were placed. Companies like Network 18, SaddaHaq, Indian Express, Times Now came. They offered around atleast a package of 3 lakhs per annum.
