Mostly all major mainstream media comes for the placement. Some of the big names like the Times group, The Hindu, Hindustan times, Zee and Network 18 group for Multimedia journalism and Bloomberg, Reuters, Busniess Today CNBC etc for Business journalism. The average package I have seen had 3.2 lack per annum. 100% placement is assured for every student who passed to course.
The campus placement is very active. They make sure that not even one person is left unattended. They also train students for interviews and tests. The Print, Radio, TV, and New Media students, all have plenty of opportunities to get to where they want.
For getting admission to our college, the student must apply online or download a hard copy to submit to the college office. The application fees for Rs.2360 and for applying for both the Business and Financial Journalism Programme, the application fee is Rs.3540. An entrance exam is taken for which the college has centers in various cities. Next, on being selected, an interview is taken. This applies to both the courses PG Diploma in Business and Financial Journalism and the Integrated Course of PG Diploma in Journalism.
ACJ entrance exam, i scored not too good in GK but my English paper went pretty satisfying and that is why my name got listed. I opted for this college because it ranks among top 10 J-schools in India.
