Course Curriculum Overview :

Electronic gadgets and radio system skills, moreover suggestions from professor,very nicely, no need for changes or improvements as old remains one of the gold, examination is held on every semester and the timings are student favourable.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 581200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Since I didn't attend any internship programme so I can't describe in much details but all I knew is that TCS offers as assistant engineer with 7000 stipends and also Nestle also offers the same post with a good amount of stipends

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester or before also according to NOC. IEMA with highest package of 7200000, TCS,Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant. 97 percentage of students are getting placed through campus placements. I am willing to do MBA after my bachelor's.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees increases for every year new batch joining the university which is very optimal. Such has per semester 70-75 thousand for every new joining. Complete cost- 581200. Iemjee scholarship, jee mains scholarship, wbjee scholarship, 10+2 based scholarship. I personally have not done intership but other things are well known as well.

Campus Life :

Esctacia, Ureckon, Hackathon are the annual and technical festivals held in February June and November. All kinds of study materials are available regarding the courses provided by the university. Excellent facilities and technical support. Proper sports day and extra co curriculum is provided.

Admission :

Iemjee entrance cleared, iemjee, frequency level is good and timings can be adjusted. No improvement required for admission process because it is an early process. Students are very much satisfied with these actions

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
