Course Curriculum Overview :

Institute has open new branches like VLSI and AI which is highly demanded in present economy. Curricilum which best suited with today's industry demand is taught. Many extra curricular activities is also promoted to develop overall personality.

Many companies come to hire. Jpmc , american express, delloite, tcs, blackrock, isro provide internship opportunities. They provide opportunities in tech and non tech sector. Stipend varying 30k -1.2L is provided.

College provide great oppourtunity of placement. Different multi national comes to hire ( likes of JPMC , Delloite,morgan stanley,texas inst.) Provide guidance to clear different competetive exams. It provide great opportunity for higher education in foreign

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tiet is bit expensive and every student cannot afford it. Total expenditure is about 250000 including hostel and mess fee. Although college do provide scholarship but it is limited to top 10 student of a batch. If you have the capabilites, college do provide environment to ear.

Campus Life :

Campus life is great. There are many socities which you can be part of. From dancing to singing, art to photography, quizing to literature, computing to supra designing,u name u get it . Almost all type of sports facilities and their respective coaches are provided.

Hostel Facilities :

Though the rent is very high, I am very much satisfied with the facilities provided . We are provided with laundary service, room cleaning service, 24 hrs ambulance service. Hostel is very nice and well maintained and food quality is great. Mess is very hygenic and a balanced diet is provided.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

Admission is based on 12th percentage as well as from jee mains. I have enteted through jee and admision procedural is quite convinient. For cse and coe,cut-off little higher,i.e around 96%ile in last round. For ece and enc, its around 92+. Mechanical branch is also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
