A little review on the college on my basis of mindset

Dislikes

  • I didn't liked the laboratory class. The lab class need to be improved a little bit that offers us with good machines and other things that we do our practicals.
  • The college authority doesn't allow the students to enter into the lifts for climbing the stairs. They allow only the college staffs and other faculties to enter into the lifts

Course Curriculum Overview :

One of my friends suggested me this course as it is a good course. The job opportunities for this course is much better and the salary packages are also good compared to some others courses in the college. The academic structure of the college is very nice and college faculty is very friendly and helps us to improve in our studies, sports, and other aspects. The internship duties and other duties which came along with the classes during the 2nd and 3rd year. The teaching is good but need to be a little more improved in the practical sessions. Some of the exams question papers are made a little bit difficult for the 3hours time period of the exams.

Internships Opportunities :

The authority of the college provides us with the internship opportunities during our academic year and that helps us in doing our practicals like getting an experience for doing the work. The college authority also provides us with a small amount of stipend for doing our internship. I didn't get any offers from any companies as iam not doing my internship academic year. Iam doing the course -MIT and they help us to do the studying and the working of the machines that will be used in the hospitals that I work for on getting the job opportunity in that particular hospital

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for the campus placement in the final year of the course which is the year of doing internship postings in the hospital. I didn't attended any visits to the company because iam not doing my final year but some of my seniors told that they got some opportunities form some hospitals for working as their faculty on the coming days of his life Some of the hospitals gave starting packages from 25000 to 100000 according to their work experience. They offer a better packages for the individuals. They are mainly not looking for the marks that a student got but they also check that that will be of the pass marks but give much importance to the work experience of that particular student. My plans after getting a degree in bsc. is to do the masters in the course which iam doing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of the course in this college is a little affordable for much of the middle class families. There are a little more hike in the coming years of the the academics. In the 1st year all of the paramedical allied science courses are not of the same fees and that need to be to standardized. The complete fees of my course is approximately 550000 and the other additional charges like exams fees and other programs of the college includes approximately about 100000 for the academic years fully. I don't know the names of the scholarships correctly but they offer a number of scholarships which is good for us a lot. I didn't attended on any campus employment because Iam not at the final year and the offer a large contribution for the campus employment.

Campus Life :

The college authority provides a major contribution in makings the programs which need to be conducted in the college. Some of the programs are jeevan, amagotsava, tatvam etc. The Library of the colleges offers many important and priced books. Most of the classic and the books which contains the topic easier for us to study. The classrooms are much bigger and athe availablity of the settings are better. They offer many sports programs and conduct competitions with other colleges. The college authority provides us with a student portal which help us to understand the timings and dates of the exams , help us to know the attendance percentage etc.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is minimum 60% marks on 12th board exams. We get the fee details and other details of the course and the college in the office section of the college and the application for the course will be given at the administration block in the college campus. The xams are a little bit difficult and but they will try to give us the eligibility to pass and the time for the xams are 3hours. The office section need to be a little more efficient for the fee process

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties gives us notes and we're having clinical postings everyday, that helps to interact with patients, makes us more confident in practical skills and helps us to deal with all kind of patients. We're having 3 internals, with regular class test. In 1st year we're having Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology with two language subjects such as Kannada and English. By learning Kannada it helps us to deal patients. 1st year subjects actually makes aware of basic medical things even though if it is not required for our course.

Admission:

Admissions at AIHS, is an organized team work from the Admissions Cell to assist all applicants and aspirants on a first come first serve basis. However, merit matters at all stages of Admissions Process. Besides the university norms, the institute prefers students with an excellent track record in academics, cultural activities and sports too. Flair for management and leadership shall be an added advantage.

Placement Experience:

Career Counselling at AIHS is not limited to counsellors alone. Career Counselling and guidance are offered to students by class coordinators and faculty too. Students are provided insights and support through out the academics in the institution and during clinical postings. The clinical postings are designed in such a way that thr students of Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Imaging Technology, MHA and Nursing courses get exposures at Government Hospital, various grades of Private Hospitals and Corporate Hospitals. Therefore, the students get expertise in handling patients of all income groups and all layers of the society when compared to students of Institutions that have their own hospitals, where their exposures are limited.
