Facilities, students, staffs and campus I liked everything
The hostel is near our college which is really good

There is nothing to dislike if you don't want to stay in hostel you can stay outside too

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was really interested in medical field so I got into BDS . Nowadays people are being concerned about oral hygiene so I choose the course . And fees of the college is affordable. With very good faculties

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 450000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In BDS programme the college offers 1yr internship with scholarship of 11000 per month. And if you want to do MDS you can visit the website of institute of dental science to know about the fee structure and course details

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee for bds in soa University is 22 lac per 4 years and they provide internship for 1 year in which they are giving scholarship to students. Apart from that you can get discount in admission fee according to your neet percentile

Campus Life :

Our campus is very friendly with opportunities to include yourself in cultural activities we celebrate different days we organise fests we do awareness programmes on oral hygiene and like different competitions

Hostel Facilities :

They have both AC and non AC rooms and you can also opt for 2 bedded or 3 bedded according to your choice they provide 4 times food .and total fee for food is 43 thousand per year. We have lift system in hostel

Hostel Fee : INR 98000 per year

Admission :

I had given NEET examination and I qualified that. I found the application form at NMC website and about the college in college website. College gave me 1lac per year scholarship for scoring more than 75 percentile in neet examination. And institute of dental science is the best college to do BDS in odisha.

Complete guide to SCB dental college

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS will be a wonderful course of u are completely into it . Because it's much more than study human biology. It is very important to understand all the practicals and clinical aspects. After completing graduation you can open your clinic or get a govt job by applying state PSC exams. But the govt should give more placements in govt sector. From 2023 we have 3 internals and 1 main university exam.

My experience in SCB dental College, Almost good except the job part!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Once a year there are board exams. There are total 4 board exams in the course. Also there are 4 internal exams before each board exam. Difficulty is moderate for the theory exams but the viva part is really scary.

Good college for studying

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BDS curriculum of this college affiliated with utkal university is as per the rules of the INDIAN DENTAL COUNCIL. The syllabus and the approach of the college is well in line to easily clear all the exams on time. The practical tasks help us a lot in gaining the skills necessary to become a good dentist. 1 university exam an year and 2 internals and frequent class test and question sessions are also taken.

For the internship completion as the internship is completed they can opt for campus placement, in our dental campus only 2 companies had been visited highest package of 20000/- had been given per month, the percentage was very low like 30 per cent .to get a stable job

Remarks:

According to me, this college is 30% good, 70% bad. Good is all about annual function, good seniors, restaurant and shops in campus and a few good faculties. Bad is about hostel, canteen, food, freedom of girls, fine taken by teachers, extra strict teachers, too much pressure for attendance.

It is the best college for education and entertainment.

Remarks:

All positive remarks are the lectures of our faculties,their support and motivation. But I will rate negative to our management for looting parents money every year. They penalise money on being absents if you are sick and didn't come to college that day or any kind of emergency happened like creamation, tour and more. They will not listen to you and charge as much as they can. They will not listen your concern after being absent for some emergency. Only they know how to loot money in the name of Fine.
