Course Curriculum Overview :

The B.Sc.(H) Computer Science educational modules at Hansraj College is very comprehensive and pertinent to the current requests of the IT industry and the scholarly world. The course offers a adjusted blend of hypothetical establishments and down to earth applications, which affected my choice to select this program. The incorporation of modern programming dialects and innovations, as well as subjects like AI and Data Security, plans understudies well for real-world challenges and assist studies. However, there’s continuously room for advancement. The educational programs seem advantage from more industry collaboration to give hands-on encounter with the most recent apparatuses and hones. Furthermore, consolidating more intrigue ventures seem upgrade problem-solving abilities in differing contexts.Overall, I would rate the educational programs profoundly for its profundity and breadth.

Internships Opportunities :

The Internship Cell at Hansraj College provides opportunities in various fields including finance and information technology with renowned companies such as Byju's, Bajaj Capital, and Decathlon. Interns take on projects that include market research and content creation. The internships lead to developing skills and professional development. Stipend amounts differ and are provided during the Internship Fair.

Placement Experience :

At Hansraj College, students can start applying for jobs in their 5th semester of study. Some of the major companies that recruit students from Hansraj include Deloitte, Boston Consulting Group, and KPMG. In total, over 540 job offers were made in recent years, with the top offer being 36.5 lakhs per annum and the average offer being 7.9 lakhs per annum. Around 70% of the graduating class secures placements, typically in audit, consulting, or finance roles. After finishing their degree, many Hansraj graduates choose to pursue further education or use their acquired skills to find tech jobs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Hansraj College’s B.Sc.(H) CS program offers a low-cost education with minimal tuition fees and additional expenses. Fee increases are in line with Delhi University's policies. There are scholarships and financial assistance based on academic achievement and financial need, including discounted fees and awards. On-campus employment provides hands-on experience and earnings, with information accessible through the placement office.

Campus Life :

Student life at Hansraj College is energetic, with Confluence, the yearly festival, and various technical conferences adding excitement to student life. The library contains over 137,000 books and journals, encouraging academic advancement. Classrooms have technology, enabling interactive learning. Sports amenities meet varied interests, from archery to basketball, while groups like Rotaract add to personal growth and community impact. The college's facilities and student groups together build a dynamic and well-rounded educational journey.

Admission :

I can tell you that the admission through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) was quite smooth. The application process involved registering for the CUET training, filling in the required information and selecting the desired universities and programs. The CUET exam itself was a mix of subjects related to the chosen course. After the results were published, the university published a CV based on the grades and the admission process continued with document verification and fee payment. One aspect of the admission process that could be improved is the waiting time between admissions, exam results and the issuance of a CV. This period of uncertainty can be quite stressful for students. In addition, the online portal occasionally experienced technical issues that made it difficult to apply.Overall, the admissions process was fair and merit-based, which is necessary to maintain the college's academic standards.
