Course Curriculum Overview :
MPH provides a broad understanding of public health principles and practices, allowing graduates to work in different sectors like health care, government academia, non profits and private industry.MPH graduates are in a high demand for a high range of roles, including epidemiologist, health educators, environmental health specialist, health care administrator, policy analysts, biostatistician etc.persuing a MPH degree can enhance critical thinking skills, research abilities, leadership qualities, communication skills, all of which are valuable for advancing in public health field. course curriculum is standard and covers all the topic but it could have more descriptive to under the syllabus teaching method can be more innovative focusing more on field visits and situation based analysis. There are total 4 semesters and the fourth semester includes dissertation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It is a self financing course, and course fees is 2500 per year and for student academic fund they ask for a deposit of 5000 rupees, they also take semester exam formfill up charges along with exam centre fees upto 1400 or more. There are no financial aids given to the students, hostels are available for the students.
Campus Life :
Regural workshops are held in the departments ,specials guest are invited fo.r academic improvements and extra knowlwdge gain for the students with softwares assessment knowledge are given.field visits are also given for real time assesment of the teaching are also provided for equipment knowledge. e-library is available for the students ans they can also the university library.free wifi for is also available for the students.lecturers are very friendly and provide a good interactive teaching aids to the students with the help of visual aids and videos.government holidays and local and national festival holidays are given and also celebrated in the campus. The university campus is having a vast sports ground and students gym is also available alomg with parks and central canteen.students clubs are also available for the development of cocurricular activities and oters programs.university has its own student portal ,you can login there.
Admission :
first you need to apply fo this course throught SAMS CPET PORTAL ,then you have to give the entrance test . you can find all the admission related details from sams portal and accordingly follow the steps. eligibility:graduate in medicine/AYUSH/veterinary sciences/allied and health sciences/life science/statistics /biostatistics /demography/population studies/nutrition/sociology/psychology /anthropology /social work with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and 45% for sc/st candidates. the exams are conducted once every year.
