Likes

The canteen is ok and affordable comparing to other colleges. There are many societies for student interaction and different activities and events.
The campus infrastructure is good. The ground is quite big for many sports.

There is need to improve the infrastructure with lifts in each block and other works.
The area of college lies in seelampur which is not good some students got there phones stolen from there.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is ok but I guess there is need to change some subjects according to course like environmental studies. There is no need to study it for engineering. Subjects like applied maths and physics are good with programming. Exams are done two times one is mid semester which is done simultaneously without any break and then end semester exams are done .

Class Size : 52Course Fees : INR 144000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for first year is 144000 for btech. We have to pay 60000 at time of counseling and rest fees is paid at time of reporting in college. The fees is ok not too high as compared to same other private colleges. There are some scholarships available for ews students. Except the internships and placement there are no campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life :

The campus life is average not too bad not too good. Many students come from different states. By socializing accept it is good . The campus is big enough but some improvements can be done to make it better. There are 5 blocks in total. The annual tech fest named UTKARSH is held in March. It continues for 3 days and it is quite well. There are many different societies and clubs based on various interests like technical society, debate and music society and many more.

Admission :

The admission process was quite easy. We have to take part in online counseling of GGSIPU and then if we get any college alloted we have to go to the clg and do the reporting and pay fees. My course is BTech. The cutoff was different for every branch. I got ece branch 2nd shift at 643500 rank of jee mains. There are several rounds of counseling including round 1,2,3 and spot round 1 and special spot round. They can do better at the counseling process by announcing results timely and providing better website portal for Students to take part.

IIT DELHI INSIDE STORY

Placement Experience:

All the big Mncs and heavily paying firms come to our college . Most of then are open for every students. But some only open for top branches. Placement are best in iits but some students go for UPSC and other for MBA or higher studies , so the percentage drops.

My aunt was the teacher in this college and my jee rank was good so in my jee rank i got the best college and its fees is less so there was no prblm. And there is strictness for studies. The students should have 75%attendence.

Placement of this college is too good as avg is 11 lakh per annum so the college as the mass recruiters like infosis and amazon and flipkart and byjus come in our college to give job to our honourable students the avg income of mechanical student from mait is 20 lakh per annum
