Course Curriculum Overview :

The overall curriculum and course is well planned. It is updated as per requirements and necessities. The course is planned in such a way that students will be able to learn as much as possilble from various sources. Case studies, presentations, assignments and tests are there to make students industry ready. Still I think management needs to adopt strict rules for mainting discipline as students are usually late for morning lectures and also I would suggest the practice of GD-PI for companies will be more helpful.

Internships Opportunities :

This year the highest stipend was 135000 offerd by SMBC for treasury role followed by 100000 offered by D E Shaw. Also many companies visited like TCS, Morgan Stanely, J P Morgan, Mahindra, ICICI, etc. Still there were many students getting unpaid internships. The roles offered were summer intern, research analyst, sales, etc.

Placement Experience :

The campus offers summer placement for first year students and final placements for second year students. Many companies visits the campus and also students are allowed to find placement on their own too but, in such case students need to inform placement committee in advance. Campus also has provision for students who want to start their own busniess that if they want they are eligible for placement after two years of completion of their PG. Generally the placements are full.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As the fee is 10 lakhs, we are provided with excellent infrastructure, various teaching tools, access to databases and experienced faculties. As for the students who are facing financial issues there is facility of fee wavier. The students get upto 20 to 80 percent fee wavier if required. In campus many times forms are circulated regarding various scholarships to aware students. College also helps with getting education loan if required. Though there are no campus employment but still students are given opportunities to present their ideas to get funds.

Campus Life :

There are many clubs on campus but as the intake is almost 700 students per year, students are allowed to be a part of only one commitee and 1 club. The committees are very active also, various events are done by each commitee either themselves or in collaboration with others. Still I think the intake of commitee should be increased so that more students can participate and for some committees the process of selection can be made little less aggressive.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility provides regular cleaning, common area which are the plus points but still after having so much fees there are no ACs which are provided in other colleges having less fees. Also there are concerns about mosquitoes in the hostel. The location of hostel is good as there are nerby stores and also bus stand and railway station is also near. The mess is compulsory if taking hostel. The mess is clean, sometimes there is feast also and continuous feedback is taken.

Admission :

The application process was transparent and easy. I like that the process was completed timely with punctuality. Our assessment score was ready and after the declaration of results, the merit list was out soon. They also provided scholarships to students who needed financial assistance. The thing which can be improved is that the admissions are done sooner as compared to other colleges accepting the same exams so, many of the students didn't get a chance to appear for other colleges.

Interview Experience :

Instead of GD, there was a round of case analysis. In this round each student was given a case on real life scenario or current situation. Soe time was given for analysis and then questions were asked. I think it was a good way to teat your communication skill, your way of thinking, knowledge and prerspectives.
