Placements - As I think it is pretty good here and there is no such problem regarding placements
Clubs- The clubs are very active and the club members are very friendly with new joiners out there

Academics - I guess the academics out here is not that good and it very average
Internships - It is very hard to get internships out here as the number of companies which come for internships are quite less

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would rate course and curriculum in the following manner 1) Academics -6/10 2) Faculty - 6/10 3)Clubs and Fest- 8/10 4) Internship Opportunities -7/10 5) Placements -8/10 There are also a number of aspects in which the college should improve,like more internship opportunities, Hostel Food which is just too bad, However the placements in here is quite good and if you are good in coding and got a circuital branch I don't think there will be problem in getting a job!

Internships Opportunities :

The intership Opportunities here is very average as the companies which come up for interships are very less and among them also they maintain a gender ratio so if are a male candidate out here it will be tough for you to get internships however you can apply off campus anyday!!

Placement Experience :

The placements here are pretty good if you are in a circuital branch but It is slightly on the average side if you got branches like Civil, Production, Mechanical etc. If the Campus placements are not good then students here are also doing coaching for other competitive exams like UPSC, CAT , GATE etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So the total fees including Tuition fees, Hostel fees ,etc comes up to be around 7.9 Lakhs . The Tuition fees which is divided into 8 semester comes up to be around 70k if you don't have any kind of relaxation and the hostel fees is around 28k for the same 8 semesters!! There are numerous Scholarships which are available in the campus and the concerned authorities are very helpful in reaching out to the scholarship portals

Campus Life :

So the overall experience regarding the clubs and all are pretty good.Like all the clubs be it coding club, dance club, robotics and many more are very active and the seniors out there are also very friendly!! Now moving onto the social involvement it is also quite good but regarding the infrastructure I must say that it is pretty average

Hostel Facilities :

So the hostels out here are quite good for the 1st And 3rd Year Boys as these hostels are the newly built and for 2nd and 4th year you get the old hostels 1st & 3rd Year(Boys) - RN TAGORE HOSTEL 2nd & 4th Year (Boys) - ARYABHATTA HOSTEL Now for the girls you get only one Hostel namely GARGI HOSTEL in which the girl students of the institute resides In the boys hostel upto the 2nd Year you get double sharing rooms while from the 3rd Year you get the single rooms.. Can't specify about the girls hostel!!

Hostel Fee : INR 223000 per year

Admission :

So basically to take admission in NIT AGARTALA you have to take the JEE MAINS exam and after that according to your rank you will getting the college in JoSAA and CSAB Counselling along with your specified branch whichever is available at your rank!!

The overall college is really good you will enjoy a lot

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

tuition tuition fee is like it will depends on the early income of your family if it's lower than 1 lakh there are some subsidies and if it's like between 1 to 5 legs there different subsidies and if it's over 5 or 8 legs the fee is really really high it's like 72 80k for each and every semester and the if I talk about the hostel fee the hostel fees around 30000 semester

Let's know all about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are getting offered for college placements. There are total 300-400 companies visit in our college and make around 600-700 offers. I got placed in ORC ENGINEERING having a LPA of 2.5-3.5 . The highest package of 2024 year is round 40 lakhs and average package is roughly around 5 LPA. Around Total 60% students placed this year. My next plan is to prepare for gate exams along with my jobs.

A Good College

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placement from 3rd year itself. Though it is highly unlikely that placement offers come in 3rd year as it comes mostly in 4th year, but there has been cases where 3rd year students also get placed. Besides placement, one can even get good internships which based upon their performance can later get turned to a placement offer. Many good companies have visited and have hired students from this college.

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Gennerally, students who maintained their cgpa above 7.5 gets placed. There were many companies which visited for placements. Software firms such as Oracle, Nvidia, Paypal, Seimens, Paytm, Rapido, Mathworks, Dell, Qualcomm, Chargebee, etc. Core manufacturing companies such as Vedanta oil and gas, Dalmia, Maruti suzuki, CEAT tyres, Ashok Leyland, etc. The percentage rate of placement is around 85%. The highest package is INR 52 LPA offered to CSE and EE branch students. Also Oracle offered placements to around 20 students with CTC of INR 35 LPA. Average package of CSE if INR 14.5 LPA whereas for ECE, it is INR 13.84 LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to get good placement from the college where i can get good work experience and also i am planning to do masters from IIt for which i will prepare for gate examination.
