- Classrooms are ac facilitated, classes are very huge, library is very useful
- Everything about the college is not good, so don’t expect much.
Dislikes
- No good infrastructure from the past decade, no separate dance room.
- The girls to boy ratio is very low this is very bad news for the students who come from boys hostel so keep it in mind.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum can be defined as modern and adept to the current working opportunities available in real world. The primary objective of any curriculum should be to not only teach the concepts of computer science but also to prepare students for the real world, by teaching them to adapt to deadlines, solve a challenging endeavor through self learning and such. IIITS curriculum has exams at a very frequent rate both term exams and quizzes to constantly asses the passive learning of students, while grading it against their peers.
Placement Experience :
Placements are an integral part of a students. Placements generally happen at any time during a students life. A placement can happen only before the student is placed, but not after the student is placed. Hence placements are happening to those who are placed. Eligible for placements is from 7th semester and percentage of student get placed is 60 percent on campus and off campus
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees increases 10000 every year and cost of education is of 140000 for course and 20000 for hostel and 20000 for food per sem and all will be covered in these fees except caution fee which is of 15000 which will be given at last of the fourth year and medical fees is of 1000 per sem JVD is provided in these college ( check JVD website for more info)
Campus Life :
Abhisarga Is annual fest and utkrista is tech fest Abhisarga is between Feb and March and utkrista between September and November and other small events take place every two months and there are enough books for student to cover there internal exams and sports is well organised in these college and interiiit competition occurs every year and many students from different sports are selected for these competitions and there are so many clubs tech gdsc iota enigma and non tech are like nirvana dance keynote reverb nss
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel allocates table,chair,cupboard and cot and 2 members are allocated to each room which has two lights and two fans and the menu is pretty good that it consists of south and North India food and there is nonveg two times per week and there are special dinners ( expected 4 times or 3 time per sem) we aren't allowed to be in rented rooms it's mandatory to be in the hostel
Admission :
Eligibility of the course is about 97 percentile in jee mains Jossa will release the application form after 6 rounds and another after 2 csab rounds if applied. Every 22 days there are mid exams. Mid 1 mid 2 and end sem. End sem is relatively difficult. Try to get a score of 150-180 in jee mains to get into iiit sricity.
