Likes

The canteen, faculty, environment, curriculum, events, clubs, people, the craze everything is very organic and organised in the college

Dislikes

May be a little strict sometimes. Some students just show off a little too much. Else everything's pretty cool and great

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college, being affiliated to Calcutta University, follows the CBCS curriculum and the professors are really amiable and masters in their fields. They teach really well and are always active on the matters of helping students with anything.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience :

They do throw light on plethora of career opportunities through different seminars and programmes. Placement cell is active and good. Students mostly have good inputs about it. The college environment is supportive and you'll easily mix in the crowd and be a part of the family

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The campus is clean and the administration is really strong and assertive. Discipline is strictly maintained in the campus and the hostels as well. The classrooms will induce a sense of awe in your mind, the giant doors kept the history vibes alive.

Campus Life :

Overall experience is really good. The administration doesn't permit or entertainment any political engagement in the campus. Neither do they allow smoking, drinking or any such activities within the college premises. Also, it's a closed campus and entry without ID is barred, no exceptions are made. Rules are rules. Also, 65% attendance is the basic criteria to sit for the exams.

Admission :

The college admission process is completely online and they don't entertain any offline meeting. The admission forms are live on the official website and the procedure is merit based( Cut off ) system. Atleast 8 merit lists do appear.

OUR BHAIRAB GANGULY COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall my course is good and suitable for me but one thing that i didn't like is exam timing. Exam timing is too short . Students have to write a 14 page of a answer sheet within 1 hour. This is almost impossible. College should change this rule and should extend the exam timing.

Exams are held under kalyani university guidance. Nearest colleges like ranaghat and kalyani's students came to give their exams and chakdaha's student went to ranaghat or kalyani college. Almost in every six monts there is a semester.
