Course Curriculum Overview :

The main aspect influenced me is that sociology tries to understand what is happening in the society. The curriculum gives a theoratical idea of how our society got changed to the current scenario. I will suggest as an improvement that the teaching method should have a more practical method. In my opinion the timing given for the exam is perfect.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 12000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Compared to another university here fees are a little bit high. Though students from certain category benefits scholarship amount as a refunding of the fee. In Pondicherry university the fees are bit high. Compared to another central universities. All state scholarship and other disability scholarship are, provided here. Campus employment are not given to my course in this university

Campus Life :

Mainly university do not provide much festivals or annual meets . Mostly festivals and other department programs are held by the students itself. Only programs like international Conference are only held by the university administration. We have a good library here. The facility and technology is very poor.

Admission :

I got admission in MA SOCIOLOGY at Pondicherry university through the spot admission I applied to this university by writing cuet entrance exam. I got the reservation obc category through spot admission. The eligibility of the course was 50 percent mark in undergraduate level. We can find all the application details in Pondicherry university site.

Best of pondicherry university

Course Curriculum Overview:

It depends on the understanding level of students.even the timetable is according to students opinion its goes very well.mostly surprise tests were conducted weekly once and two internals were conducted in 2 months even open book exam play crucial role in our daily base of classes.
