Course Curriculum Overview :

JBIMS is known as CEO factory and MHRD is their only course for HR. The Program is designed for aspirants with a strong desire to specialise in Human Resource Management. It focuses on developing HR leaders integrated with various Business partners. Program offers an extensive curriculum which includes series of courses in various areas of management. These multidisciplinary courses are important for strategic planning and thus make students ready for future challenges. 8 subjects per semesters and 2 seminar papers per semester. 4 semesters spread across 2 years.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible after 3rd sem of the course. Many companies like HDFC, IDFC first bank, Morgan Stanley, DXC tech, HUL, Sun Pharma, Capgemini, Mahindra and Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Vedanta, HPCL visit the campus. Till now 100 % placements have been offered across all batched. Highest was 26 LPA and average was 19 LPA. I want to join as an effecient HR professional in a MNC.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Admission is conducted by institute through rigorous process. Course is under University of Mumbai so there is no sudden hike in fees. Fees has been constant since the inception of course. Scholarships are not monetary but awards are instituted like Director best outgoing student for best all round performance.

Campus Life :

JBIMS is located at the heart of coporate district of Mumbai. There is scope for improvement in campus infrastructure but location enables the access to industry experts. Library is well equipped and has both physical and digital infrastruture and resources needed. There are certain clubs and committees like CSR, Marketing and Finance club which are for the students by the students.

Hostel Facilities :

JBIMS doesnt have its own accomodation facilities, instead they have seats reserved in JS Hall Hostel of Mumbai university at Marine drive. Girls have hostel at MADAM CAMA hostel. Hostels are allotted on merit basis.

Admission :

Admission process of JBIMS MHRD for 2023-25 was conducted in 2 rounds. 1st stage is qualifying exam and second is GD PI WAT. Shortlists for GDPI WAT stage are given to 300 students for 30 seats to be filled in and these are on qualifying exams (CAT, MAHCET). In person assessment is conducted in 4 sessions spread across 2 days. 1st is WAT where candidates are have to write their Statement of Purpose. There after GD, where students were divided in group of 12 and after GD Personal Interviews were conducted. Results were released after 1 week. Difficulty was moderate. Admission process can be more trasnparent while shortlisting for personal assessment stage.

Interview Experience :

We were given choice between two topics for GD, first was One Nation One Election and Other was Diversity Equity and Inclusion at work place, challenges, opportunity and way ahead. the quality of points and contribution was major factor but conduct during the interview was the deciding factor. One has to have positive body lanaguage and proper manners as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main specific reason I joined the college is for the marketing faculty. And marketing faculties are good here and the curriculum is up to date according to the IIM standards.Along with curriculum the college also give training to student for the interview, communication and nurture the students to make them stand out in this ever changing market. I would suggest the college to give more and more study materials for the exams as there is no extra study materials available in the library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on contemporary topics like digital transformation, AI and sustainability. It balances theory with practical learning through case studies, internships, presentations and preparing them for real-world challenges. Exams are frequent and challenging, testing both conceptual understanding and applications. The curriculum is demanding, requiring effective management.
