  • ▪︎Fuculty: most of the faculty here is not academic related. Mass bunk and class cancel is very common here.
  • ▪︎gender ratio: gender datio is also very disturbed here. You can expect 40:1 boys to girl ratio here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

?? mechanical engineering from DTU is one of the best in asia also I have deep Interest in this branch as well therefore I opted for this. ??there is a huge faculty in DTU, ratio of faculty is to student is around -1:20. ??there are many highly qualified professor in the college. Majority of professors are from renowned institution like IITS,MIT,AIT, Stanford etc. also there way of teaching is very good. You will never face any problem with Academic in DTU. ?? Exams are conducted very timely in DTU, there are 2 exams per semester 2 months apart. Also there are some faculty which might conduct there own tests as well. Level of exams are good, anyone who is sincere can Crack them easily.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are almost everyday company you can imagine give internship opportunity. For example microsoft and sprinkr give 2lakh per month stipend for SDE role. As I am fresher here I don't have much idea about the work they do, projects they made etc.

Placement Experience :

??from the 7th semester, student start placing in top companies. ??almost wvery large company which you can imagine visit DTU for their recruitment. Some of the names are google, microsoft, meta ,netflix,apple,bmw,mercedes,gail,flipkart,samsung,tower research and many more. There were around 400 companies visited and total offers are 2100+. ?? the overall highest package international is 1.8crpa and domestic is 83 lpa offered by amazon and Atlassian respectively. The overall avg. Package is 16lpa with 87% placement rate. ?? my plan after the degree is to grab a high package placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

??The total fees of b-tech 4 years is around 9.5 lakhs, that has to be paid in 4 installments. ??there are many scholarship available in the college which can be availed. Some of them are private scholarships given by Alumni of our college, some of them are from govt. Side scholarship provided by govt. Of delhi and also there are scholorship which are provided by the college itself for financially weaker students.

Campus Life :

??There are many fests organised in DTU. Almost you can expect fest in every month of year, but the major fest of our college is one of the greatest cultural fest in the India which is 3 day long named ENGIFEST. Also many sports, society events are also hosted. ??our college has a vast library spaning a large area of three storey. Almost every books of curriculum, competitive exams, fiction and non fiction as well as journals and research paper is available. ??sport facility of DTU are even comparable to top IITs. You can play any sport, every sport has his own coach and ground facility. ??there are many groups run by students of DTU. Some of them are SLICK,freesources,engfest.in and many more.

Admission :

??eligibility of the course is the jee mains scorecard, if your CRL rank is greater then the cuttoff rank in JAC delhi counselling, then you are good to get admitted. ??after your jee mains second attempt, get your scorecard. Near the same time keep the eye on JAC delhi counselling. On the same website you will find the complete brochure and application form. ??there are reservations for all backward category, I.e. SC,ST,OBC as well as for defence personals and EWS category. Also jac delhi have 85% reservations for delhi candidates. Inside Delhi reservations will be given by the address of 12th class marksheet. ??admission process is very smooth, no improvement needed.

Delhi technological University - A Rolarcoaster of emotions

Placement Experience:

After the end of third year placement season starts that is an the end of 6th semester. During the summer break companies start coming for placement and the placement drive takes place till March that is 8th semester end. A lot of companies visit DTU. The numbers can go as high as 300. The average package is also very good

YOUR BOOK TO IIITD

Placement Experience:

At IIITD students become eligible for internships after 2nd year. First sem students also get a chance to get internship from UNIQLO. The company takes some students from first sem and offer them stipends and a trip to tokyo. The percentage of placements is good at IIITD but it went down during recession. The highest package offered is 55lpa domestic and 120lpa overseas and the avg package is 20-25 lpa. Approx 70% students got placed in year 2024

Placement Experience:

5th semester students are eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for placements( full time offers) Many bigtech companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Salesforce, Intuit etc visit our campus and hiring rate is not that bad, depends upon the company's budget and students' calibre. * the comparison of pros and cons are based on all the colleges under GGSIPU and not IIT, or NITPros:Transportation: college is well connected and within metro, bus routes, the choice is yours.Good campus: In GGSIPU campus of ADGITM is one of the best.Faculty: Faculty are good and always there for your helpCollege Societies: From sports to arts and culture to entrepreneurship college has societies, if you want to join and explore then society are one of the best place to explore as they are quite active.Infrastructure: the college has good infrastructure considering other college of GGSIPU.Cons:Placement for other branch than CS and IT are very rare if you want to work in core sectors.The education is based on to get marks in the end sem and not to learn and grow, which is the sad part.Investment in societies by college is negligible, student manages most of the events by themselves that is one of the reason most of the societies underperform than their calibre.If you are getting MAIT or GB pant go for that as the education is quite same but there you can get more placement opportunity in the core sector. and more space to grow.My time admission was based on GGSIPU CET but now it is based on JEE Main score as GGSIPU comes under JEE Main.

Admission:

Yes there was a written test and the admission is purely on the base of written test, and rank achieved in that written test. Written test is JEE main and it is based on physics, maths and chemistry of 12th standard.
