Course Curriculum Overview :

1• I have choosen this course coz I'm very much interested in social welbeing and everythongs that society links 2.in sociology department each class has maximum of 60 to 70 sudents 3.the best faculty we have in dgvc who have complete their Doctorate and well experienced staff. And their teaching methods are good

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Sociology department does not have internship but we have projects to be submitted in final year to complete our degree My topic was underemployment amount youngsters, we 4 members group done a survey with people who does not work in job with their studies

Placement Experience :

1.from 5 th semester students are eligible for placement cell 2.lots of companies will be coming for recruiting like deloitte, HCL,, infosys, cognizant and many more companies From 2,00,000 to 14 lacks package are there in placment cell

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1.First year the fees were 35,000 by the sand of course complete fees were 40,000 2.Many student from reservatiom caste gets scholarship and financial assistance according to their mark 3.campus interview will be done in common for all over college students who get selected will proceed with next level of interview

Campus Life :

We have a wide campus and play ground to conduct feast and all Normally culturals will be held in February and sports day too In campus we have basketball court and volleyball court and everyday training will be going in campus Their is lots of club, ex:lions Club, rotaract club

Admission :

For persuing BA sociology there is no entrance exam or group discussion in Dgvc. Who ever wants to study this course should have to complete 12th.and it's fully online process Course - BA. Sociology Duration- 3 years Application will be released on college website before the date of 12th results

The Best College For Girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in choosing BA English as my major in college. I personally like English subject, since I was in school. I wanted to learn more about English. As I thought, English was not just a subject that is unimportant. English is as much important as other major subjects like science, maths, etc. We had four internal exams and two semesters for a year. The curriculum was limited and covered almost all the important parts of the subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this particular course because of my interest in that subject. Organising more case studies, visits, conducting frequent test paper can help in my point of view. The students become elifor campus placement from the 5th semester onwards. The company's that provide placements are Wipro, TCS, cognizant, KPMG, and many more IT company's as well as banks. The highest packages company's offer starts from Rs 6,00,000 per annum. The profiles offer ranges from a Financial Analyst, HR Manager, computer professional and many more. The percentage of students getting placement is about 50%. My plans after getting the degree are to work in some company for 2 years and after that doing MBA from abroad.

I am doing BA in English from this college. I got admission in this college based on my marks scored in 10 + 2. Merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in 10 + 2 of all candidates and admission is given based on that. This is one of the good college in and around our locality for women's.

Placement Experience:

Placement and job opportunities in our department are very less. We have less opportunity in this, doing PG, translation, working in BPO is also and opportunity. Sutherland recruits candidates from our department.
