- Very less fests take place in the college.
- The placement is average for a engineering college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually tried for Computer Science and Engineering, but due to low cutoff, got Information Technology branch. IT branch is ever growing, always presents new challeges. Faculty:student ratio is average. Most faculty has completed M.Tech, some completed Ph.D.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies came and offered their roles to be filled. Roles like Software development officer, Bankend/Frontend, Data Analysis were offered for No-Core branches. For core branches, companies offered roles like Junior Managers etc.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible from the fifth semester for placements. 24-25 companies have visited already, but many more are going to come as the placement process is still going on. Highest package till now is 11 LPA, average package is 4.5-5LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No fee hike as compared to last year. As the total fees is 393400 for 4 years, it sure is not too low like most of Government colleges, but is not too high also, considering it is a private college. Did not avail of any financial assistance.
Campus Life :
Technovation, an annual tech fest is conducted, normally in the months of April-May. Almost 40000 books in the library, covering almost all topics. Classrooms have all the basic amenities. Main sports played are cricket, basketball, volleyball and archery.
Admission :
Through West Bengal Joint Entrance exam, Applied through WBJEEB Board, exam is conducted yearly, cutoff for Information Technology Branch was 5134, No reservation or quota was available(All India Basis).
