Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for this course because of its learning benefits which this course is offering like Industry exposure , practical learning , business tactics, overall personality development for being a good leader in the industry . The faculty:student ratio in School of busienss design is 1:15 , there is 1 faculty on 15 students The faculty at soil of school of business design are highly qualified like PHD holders, IIM pass-outs , with many years of industry experience The exams were conducted timely it is slightly hectic to manage time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees stucture is quite high at soil school of business design as it charges 1340000 for two year PGDM program if you compare other b school in the region. There is scholarship opportunity at soil school of business design for defence personl childrens , need basis , merit based scholarships are also available in the college . The campus palcements are also good at the soil school of business design with average package of 10L per anum.

Admission process starts with submitting a Online application form . You should also have appeared for competitve exams like CAT,NMAT,XAT,MAT etc scores are accpetable any one of them. there is no specifficaly cut off but they see the makrs also as a point in admission process mainly they see overall thinking of a student how innovative students thought is , extracuricular activity is also contains some points and personality of students

Interview Experience :

Yes there was group discussion round , interview round but no written test was conducted in place of written test they ask for cat , nmat , mat scores . The topics of group discussion were business and design thinking , general topics of the society like effects of smartphone on childrens , women empowerment , effects of globalization etc . The interview round questions were some from the graduation subjects ,some question to know more about the students personality , thinking approach etc . The process of admission starts with submitting online apllication then they ask for scores of cat, mat, nmat, xat etc . There is no special criteria for the admission but you must have a decent score in any of these exams moreover they see students persoanlity , thought , talent, skills in the students . I have prepared for these rounds by being aware about surroundings, reading news , general topics for GD and working on my communication skills .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are taken twice a semester for the betterment and improvement of students in final exams. I was told by the faculty that they try their best. To make it easy for students to understand. Which was really nice and more than expected.

Remarks:

During the sixth trimester of the Programme, each participant is required to undertake a research project. the college emphasis on the trainning of the student on a practical ground too. A research problem of contemporary relevance (theoretical / action oriented) is identified by the participants in consultation with NIFM faculty and / or senior level officers of their respective Department / organization. However, the final decision on the project work is taken by NIFM. The timing and duration of the project work is 16 weeks as per the curriculum. NIFM faculty guides the participants in research, analysis, preparation and completion of the project. The participants are expected to remain in regular touch with their faculty guides for timely completion of the project work. The project work is required to be completed and submitted before completion of the programme.
