- The campus. The campus is very clean and big, very green and well maintained.
- The faculty is very well trained and professional.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of my passion for the mysterious world of computers and the fast and vast growing opportunities in the field. The faculty is well trained and professional. They are friendly with the students and the student professor relationship is good. The exams occur every month or so. The first exam of each sem is CAT-1 followed by CAT-2 and then FAT for the finals.(Theory subjects) The lab subjects have midterms and final assesments. The CSE labs have perodic tests which have approximately 10% of the grade. The exams are not very difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
The companies that offer internships are vitc are- Microsoft, google,tcs and many other tech companies. They offer unpaid and paid internships. The internship experience is pretty well as i have heard from the seniors.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides loads of placement opportunities. Various companies from all around the world come to our campus for placements. Ranging from microsoft to google. The average package is around 9lakhs which is very good compared to many colleges. The placement rate is also pretty good. Generally above 95%
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is based on the rank you get. The lower the rank the lower fees you have to gove. There are categories for such. The categories are- Category 1-5. The campus placements are above average. The average placement is 8lakhs.
Campus Life :
The social life is very maintained. There is plenty of freedom but it is disciplined as well. There are many spots for the students to have fun. There are loads of extracurricular activities and stuff to do around the campus. The clubs are of many varities ranging from technical to social clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility provided by vit is good. The hostels are generally clean. The hostel are not very spacious though. There is an option for 2/4/6 bedded rooms. The mess facility is also good. The food quality is good and the messes are clean. There are three types of messes. Veg,nonveg and special mess
Admission :
The admission process started with an exam. The process is basically merit based and the ranks were provided from which you can select from various branches and campuses. The application form is easily asseccible through the vit website. The admission process is pretty fair and nearly perfect.
