Placements are really bad as companies come with very low Package
They force students to attend all the placement activities,if not then you'll get debbared from the placements and if got selected in any company then you must have to join it as you'll not be able to apply for rest.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am graduated in bachelor of science and I wanted my career in IT industry so I chose MCA course. each college affiliated under Guru Gobind Singh University has total 120 seats for this course with shift 1 and shift 2 (60 each) . Some faculties are really good but some of them don't know how to teach to be honest. There's was internal exam conducted once in every semester,which was easy to pass .

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 325000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement starts from semester 3 and company come with different eligibility criteria. Around 20-30 companies visited and 70/120 was selected initially. But many of them got fired in contrast after training period. 60% placed in my batch. I would like to prepare for GATE exam

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

During my batch 2021 the fees was around 3,25,000 for 2 years of course. Now it got increased and also this time due to recession only 10% people was placed so it was not worth at all . Around 20-30 companies came with an avg package of 4-6 lpa only many of them fired the employee after/in training period only

Campus Life :

There's University annual fest named as anugoonj ,and after COVID college itself not conducted any fest,but tech fest like techbyte etc. are always conducted. Most of the books are available in the library but with limited no. Of quantity only. Yes there are extra curricular activities on the campus and sports too if anyone's interested. Many clubs and sports group are also there for students run by students

Admission :

I gave NIMCET and also filled the admission form of Guru Gobind Singh University and got admission through that only , jagan institute of management studies cut off was 3000 , Delhi quota students get more reservation.

MCA life at Indira Gandhi National open University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to do a job while pursuing my MCA. So I chose this distance course and this course is valid all over the world. Certain centers are allotted for class. The faculty-student ratio was 7:1. The faculty were very well qualified and helpful in nature. The exams were timely but the level of exams is very tough, more than even regular courses.

JNU for Overall development

Placement Experience:

Placements are average. Only 50% of students are placed yet. In the third semester, companies start visiting campus. Some of the companies are OPTUM, CIENA, XCALIBERATE, and KNOLDUS. The highest package is 14.5 LPA by Optum and the average is around 6-7 LPA. One can choose Ph.D. as an option if one didn't get placed.

Good faculty with good placement

Remarks:

Good Things: + Good Faculty + Good Labs + Good Placement Bad Things: - Uniform 4 days out of 6 - Saturday College is open - Tough Exams - So many assignments Overall, college will make you cry for 3 years if you are coming from DU or some other university, but definitely that is good for you/your future and you will get good placement/job.
