-I enrolled in an Information Technology course at GEC, Gandhinagar due to high demand and promising job prospects in the current marks. Beyond its practicality for securing employment. I appreciate the vast potential for exploration and research within the field. -In each department at GEC, Gandhinagar, there are typically 6 to 7 faculties. Within a specific class, there is an average of 60 to 90 students. -The faculty at GEC, Gandhinagar is well-qualified, holding master's degree or having cleared prestigious exam like GPSC or UPSC, but also highly supportive. -Term exams at GEC, Gandhinagr are conducted at the end of every semester. The exams are relatively manageable and can be easily passed if students focus on their studies and prepare throughly

Internships Opportunities :

GEC, Gandhinagar provide excellent internship opportunities, enhancing the value of a degree from a goverment college like GTU on one's resume. The emphasis on quality development at the college is noteworthy

Placement Experience:

In college placement are definitely good. Students are able to sit in placement after 6th sem. Companies visit in college are tcs, infosys, l&t etc. And avg. Salary per month is 25000. The placement are decent.

We are in just starting of second year! Therefore we don't have enough knowledge of placement! But conversation with seniors and professors we have ideas that 50 to 100 big companies come in campus for placement and 5-6 lakhs is avg placement. University claims 90-100 % placement ratio

Placement Experience:

As of last year, most of the students who applied for campus placement got placed but with an average ctc of rs 5 lakh/annum. The companies visited include Adani Port, Adani gas, Torrent Power, and other companies. The highest package was rs 15 lakh. Generally, most students from here prepare for entrances like a gate, toefl, cat, etc for admission in masters.

Remarks:

Faculty needs to be focused on. Infrastructure needs to be established asap. Currently we reside in mentor institute SVNIT. So there is some level of socialization as the mentor institute is well established.
