AS I BELONGS TO SCIENCE FIELD, I CHOOSE MLS COURSE. THIS COURSE OFFERS THE VALUABLE SKILLS IN RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY AND CATALOGING. ADDITIONALLY THE MLS COURSE CAN OPEN THE DOOR TO THE DIVERSE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES LIKE PHELEBOTOMIST, MICROBIOLOGIST, HISTOPATHOLOGIST ETC.

Internships Opportunities :

HOSPITALS LIKE FORTIS AND VARIES INDUSTRIES TIE WITH THIS COLLEGE. THESE HOSPITAL AND INDUSTRIES GIVE INTERNSHIP OPPOURTUNITIES TO THE STUDENTS. PROJECTS ARE GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS. AFTER THE COMPLITION OF INTERNSHIP, THE STUDENT SUBMIT THEIR PROJECT REPORT TO COLLEGE. THE INTERNAL ACCESSMENT IS BASED ON THE OUR INTERNSHIP AND ASSIGNMENTS.

FROM 6TH SEM THE COLLEGE PROVIDE THE INFORMATION REGARDING THE COMPANIES AND INDUSTRIES. LOT OF THE COMPANIES AND INDUSTRIES PROVIDES THE PLACEMENTS TO THE STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS GET 25000 MONTHLY INCOME MINIMUM JOB AS FRESHER.75% STUDENTS GET JOB OR PLACEMENTS. MY FUTURE PLAN- I WILL START MY OWN LAB.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

THERE IS A SEPARATE DEPARTMENT FOR PLACEMENTS AND INTERNSHIPS. THIS COLLEGE PROVIDES EVENTS LIKE JOB FAIRS, SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS THAT HELPS THE STUDENTS TO GET THE GOOD JOBS. THIS COLLEGE ALSO PROVIDE THE SCHOLARSHIP TO THE STUDENTS. THE FEES STRUCTURE IS ALSO RESONABLE. MOSTLY THE STUDENTS IN THIS COLLEGE BELONGS TO THE POOR FAMILIES. COLLEGE ALWAYS HELP THE STUDENTS IN STUDY AND FEES.

Hostel Facilities :

THE FACILITIES OF HOSTEL IS GOOD. THREE TYPES OF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE ACCORDING TO THE STUDENT CONVINENCE.THE MASS IS ALSO NEAT AND CLEAN AND MENU CHANGE EVERY DAY. THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS JUST FILL THE FORM AND INFORM ADMINISTRATION.

Hostel Fee : INR 4000 per year

Admission :

THERE IS NO ENTRANCE TEST FOR TAKING ADMISSION IN ANY COURSE. FOR THE ADMISSION,WE HAVE TO FILL THE ADMISSION FORM AND DEPOSITE REGISTRATION FEES.THE ELIGILIBILITY OF B.SC MLS IS 10+2 MED/NON-MED WITH 75% PERCENTAGE MINIMUM.

Interview Experience :

THERE IS NO ANY ENTRANCE TEST FOR THE ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE. THE COUNSELLING DEPARTMENT IS DOING THEIR JOB GOOD. THEY COUNSEL THE STUDENTS AND GUIDE THE STUDENTS ACCORDING TO THEIR INTERSEST. THERE IS NO ANY HARD AND FAST PROCESS FOR ADMISSSION JUST FILL FORM AND REGISTER YOURSELF .

Remarks:

Actually I didn't want to do drop after my class 12th like all students of my class were doing but my parents were suggesting me to take a drop and appear for the medical exam but I didn't want to be a doctor so as an alternative I look for a college and I found IISER Mohali best for that.

Placement Experience:

The only place where IISER Mohali is lagging behind is in terms of placement as IISER Mohali doesn't offer technical courses so direct placements to companies is not possible the only sector in companies where students can go for is Research and Development Department.

Remarks:

IISER Mohali gives you value of money. It's fees as compared to other colleges like engineering colleges is very low and almost every student also get scholarship from KVPY or through Inspire. Approximate tuition fees of year is about 70,000. The most important thing the future of students is safe here and due to all these I choose IISER Mohali.

Placement Experience:

Getting direct placements from a research institute is not an easy task and IISER Mohali administration also does not support it that's why after a lot of efforts from students community still there is no placement cell in the college.

Remarks:

IISER Mohali is one of the best research institute in India and also it is a national importance college. My main motto was to get admission in such a college where my future can be secure and IISER Mohali is best for future safe.

Placement Experience:

IISER MOHALI is a basic science research institute. It doesn't offer any technical courses so direct placements from campus are not there. Students after their 5 year degree do their PhD from some of the best universities across the world. There is no placement cell in the college.

My cousin is already studying in IISER Pune and my dream was also to get admission in IISER Pune but unfortunately IISER Pune was not offered to me and I get IISER Mohali in floating option. IISER Mohali was my 2nd preference after IISER Pune.

Placement Experience:

There is no such placement cell in the college. Students mainly go for pHd in some of the best universities across the world like MIT, Harvard, Yale, University of Cambridge, Max Planck etc _ Some students also go for industries job_
