Course Curriculum Overview :

1. I chose this course as I was interested in mechanical engineering. 2. Some faculties namely 1st year faculties behaviour towards the students are rude. 3. My department faculties are well qualified and teaches well. 4. Sem exams are a bit hard.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college dosen't provide any intership opportunities. The students themselves should find intership opportunities and seek permission to go for the intership. Due to lesser number of holidays, students won't be able to go for 1 months interships.

Placement Experience :

1. I guess students are eligile when the are in 7th semester. 2. TCS, Infosys, Amazon, UST Global, Byjus, South Park Hotels and South Park Autos. 3. Not sure about the packages given by the placements. 4. Not much 5. My plan is to do a course on NDT

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

At first if you have 90% above marks for 12th or your KEAM ranks are below 20,000, then you will be provided a scholarship from the college itself (25k yearly). But the moment you get a single back paper in University exams, then your scholarship will automatically get cancelled and fees will be 75k per yr.

Campus Life :

1. The Annual fest is called "ILLUMINATI" and it is conducted on the month of May. 2. Library consits of all the texts and journals required for our subjects. 3. Classrooms have proper lightings and fans. 4. Sports activities are done if only the students take the initiatives. 5. NSS and IEDC are the two main clubs of our campus.

Admission :

Admission was quite an easy process, as I wrote KEAM entrance exam and I had achieved the cut of rank of my college. Only improvement to be done is that some faculties behaviour towards the students are harsh and management is strict.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
