Remarks :
College management was reluctant enough that led to lack of professional attitude for infrastructure facilities. More updated vision would be helpful.
Entrance Preview :
JEE, The college was located at my home town with very nice infrastructure and knowledgeable faculty.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum comprised of in depth knowledge of Electrical machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, Circuit Theory, Digital and Analog Electronics, Thermodynamics, IC engines, C programming with Operating systems and Data Structure.
Internships Opportunities :
Not applicable for Bachelor of Technology. No internships applicable.
Placement Experience :
With the adverse effects of recession being prevalent in 2009, Our college organized several interview workshops and helped 60% of the students get placed on campus. Companies were TCS, Wipro BPO, Philips Carbon, Indian Army, Paharpur cooling etc.
College Events :
College technical fest, cultural fest, sports, quiz competition, entrepreneur building workshop.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No idea on that. Not sure of any scholarships or loan provided by college.
Campus Life :
Campus life was awesome with technical fests and cultural events. Gym and play rooms are also available. WiFi is available throughout the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel was good and with adequate lodging with security. Mess food was not up to the mark.
Alumni/Alumna :
There are alumi meets organized by the college where alumni and seniors try to get together and share their experiences with students. People are well connected thru social media.
Exam Structure :
There were 8 semesters during the 4 yr tenure. Each semester lasted for two weeks with one paper a day and study leaves in between. Even semesters get adequate time but for odd semesters the Diwali and Christmas leaves count a lot.
Faculty :
Faculty were very approachable and helpful. Articulation and concept building capabilities were there in most of the faculty. Per time classes from renowned colleges like JU helped a lot in basics building.
