Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my interest in farming and other horticultural related field work is take place very well here. Faculty members are very much friendly and highly qualified. Students ratio is very good here. There is total three exam in every term like midterms, endterms and Viva. The level of difficulties is not that much to pass the exam but you should pay attention on the ongoing class enthusisaly.
Internships Opportunities :
Rawa offer every year for internship and this internship took place in 3 months with a stipend of around 18k . It's mainly a rural development tasks where students collected data of different crops from the farmers.
Placement Experience :
Students from 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. There is a very few company visits here like Pradhan and a number of students get placements from here. Highest package around 10 lkh per annum and average package 4 lakhs per annum. About 60%students get placements from here. I have applied for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of study is not that much you have to pay around 5000 tuition fees for every term and around 3000 mess fees every month.There are various types of govt. Scholarships like svmcm scholarship for West Bengal students and NTS scholarships for ICAR students.
Campus Life :
There is a fest every year taken place in UBKV. The fest mainly taken place in the month of March or April.There is a huge numbers of books in UBKV central Library around 43k.classrooms quality is average. There is a huge exploration of sports and extra curricular activity. There is a group name uttra in fb.
Hostel Facilities :
There is a smart board in every classroom. Meal quality is average but it's ok for West Bengal's students. You have to pay a security money around 2200 for hostel and this is refundable. You can easily get rented room or PG in pundibari.
Admission :
The eligibility of the course is 12 passed with 85% score with science or vocational board. I count this link in online which called as ubky many type of improvement found in the online section so I found that it was very much beneficial for students.
