Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed the course because I wanted to pursue MBA further so I thought this is the relevant grad course I should be pursuing. The faculty is good and well qualified. They have supportive nature. The college follows yearly system instead of semesters. So there are two periodic exams and one final exam conducted in a year.
Internships Opportunities
To be honest I never applied for any campus internship as I was doing one of my own. But from what I've heard the college provides numerous placement and internships opportunities. Students are notified through notices and college groups about the upcoming opportunities and the application process is easy as well you just have to get your registered through the HOD and your passport size photo is required. Then you have to appear for the interview.
Placement Experience
You're eligible for campus placements in your last year but you can do internships from the first year itself. Numerous companies keep coming in the college that offer internships. Average package offerd varies from companies to companies but we can assume it's approx 1-4lpa. I can't say much as I'm already doing an internship out of college
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is affordable. I don't know much about the scholarship as I didn't avail one but from what I've heard they provide many types of scholarships. If we talk about campus jobs and internships, there are many companies through our the year providing jobs and internships as well. The companies have criteria of their own to select the students for the job/internship.
Campus Life
The one thing I liked about the college is that there are many co-curricular activites conducted through the year. All the festival and days are celebrated, farewell and fresher party is also organised, annual function is organised once in a year. The college has its own sports team which is really amazing and wins a lot of tournaments. Sports day is also organised in the college itself. There are many other competitions happening through the year like debate, extempore, poster making etc. The college is really happening and fun if you keep participating in the events that take place for example there's is matki fod competition on janmashtami where everyone dress up in traditionals. So many festivals are celebrated in the college itself and that's really good.
Admission
You're eligible for the course if you've more than 60% in 12th. I did my first year of BBA from Vikram University so I had to apply for University change to take admission for Maharaja Ranjit Singh College as it is affiliated from DAVV University. The process was lengthy and took around a month as there were many formalities. I had to get an eligibility form from the DAVV University. Documents needed to get admission are- 10th and 12th marksheet, Domicile certificate, adhar card and the college provides a green form that has to be filled. The only con that I faced was there's is no online process if you're changing the university. The whole admission process takes place offline from the college and university. So you keep wandering between the university and the college that is really irritating and tiring.
