The library is having a good amount and different kinds of books journals.
The fest that occurs are nice and wonderful.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This is because I have the passion for computers and coding. There are sufficient faculties for each student. The faculties are well qualified. The first term exam has sufficient time but after second term there is no time for semester exam.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The companies like TCS Infosys Cognizant provide internship opportunities to the students. The college has classes like Design Thinking and Innovation classes for making innovative projects and that helps to make our CV stronger for campus placements.

Placement Experience :

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS Infosys Cognizant visit in the campus. The average package is seven to eight lakhs per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to do job in the Corporate sector.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is eighty five thousand per semester but previously it was less like around seventy five thousand.So there is fees increment every year. The college provide extra courses such as NPTEL for internship opportunities.

Campus Life :

The tech fest is Ureckon and the annual fest is Ecstatia.They occur in the January or February of the year. The library is well equipped with books and magazines and journals. The classroom is also nice equipped with microphones speakers. There is a nice basketball ground and the indoor games is well equipped having chess and carrom boards.

Admission :

Yes there is an entrance exam for admission in the college known as IEMJEE. You need complete you higher secondary with 75% aggregate. Admission through WBJEE and JEE(Mains) is also taken No improvement is needed in the admission process.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.
