Placements of the university and the avarage CTC.
Faculties are very good. And we have very good student teacher relationship here

The infrastructure can be better here. It is not as expected.
The life of city is not tolerable for a student who passed his school life in his village home.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course as i wanted to study computer science and become a software engineer. The student teacher ratio is very good in the university. The faculties are highly qualified and they have very unique and interesting teaching methods. The exams are very frequent here whether the class tests , mid sem or end sem.

Class Size : 900Course Fees : INR 1250 per year

Placement Experience :

The campus placement here is very good. We observed our seniors getting very good placements with high packages . The average CTC is around 11 LPA and for CSE it is around 24 LPA. In Jadavpur University around 95 percentage of students get placement offers also others go for higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Jadavpur University is well known for the cheep fees. The return of investment here surpasses top IITs in the country. Also the hostels are very cheep here. Students get government as well as non government scholarships .

Campus Life :

The overall campus life is amazing. In Kolkata Jadavpur University is the greatest University where students social life is great. There are social, cultural, sports, science, coding and many more clubs. The infrastructure is not like IITs but it is pretty decent i will say. There are cultural, technical fests every year. Students also focuces on extracurricular activities here besides the academics.

Admission :

I gave WBJEE entrance exam. Students should be a 12th pass cantidate with physics, chemistry and mathematics to write the exam. The application form is available in WBJEE official website. There are reservation for SC,ST,OBC and also for TFW cantidates .

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
