Remarks :

There's nothing much to complain about the college. It is optimised in its own way. The placements should be increased and the college must work on it.

Entrance Preview :

No entrance exam followed. I completed my degree & was admitted to the college. Im satisfied with the course i choosed. So I landed up in the college through the merit list process followed. There wasn't any interview taken. I was interested in political science so I chose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is worth and provides us high quality knowledge. As my course is MA I don't have any practical sessions in my timetable. Theoretical knowledge i good. However the Viva & seminars are given in the classrooms. Elective options are also present for us.

Internships Opportunities :

The college don't provide internship but the college provide us the visits to different places. Recently we visited the MANTRALAYA or SACHIVALAYA at Mumbai and performed some tasks there.

Placement Experience :

There is no placement or very low placement given to our field of MA. With around 20% students getting placed, however the students go on to further studies. There aren't any major companies visiting the college campus known to me .

College Events :

There is the cultural program held every year in the college, which is mammoth and is very much reputed for the dextrous performances performed on the stage. It is named as URMI. The program is a must watch program. It is the most awaited and enjoyed by everyone. The college appoints many bouncers for no compromise in the indisciplined & creep behavior if found. There are the NSS and NCC camps held

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college fee structure is very much affordable as my course is considered. I don't know about other courses in the college. The fee for open category students is 10k Fee for OBC is 8k. And for other categories its very much more than our fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are scholarship of the Government given by the college to the students. They provide it to the category students. i.e SC ST & OBC categories. The college also helps us in getting the educational loan.

Campus Life :

There are plenty of Extracurriculars held in the college. And the college is also remarkable at its performance in it. There are various sports events organised in the college. Our college sport teams have astounding results in many tournaments. Recently they were finalists but ended up as runner up in the university level matches of volleyball. There are many other technical non technical events held in the college. There is gymnasium. There are also the blood donation camps held under NSS.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I reside at the college hostel. There is hostel facility provided by the College in the campus itself for both boys and girls students. rooms Are also on sharing. it's very good maintained. And the facilities provided in it are good. The fees for hostel are 22k annually. They don't provide us mess i.e the food. We need to go n join mess outside.

Alumni/Alumna :

There isn't anything well known like student alumni interaction in the college. There should be a proper platform for this which the college should provide to the students. Yet the interaction is good. We get helped a bit.

Exam Structure :

The exams aren't that frequent to make us feel tired. There are very less laboratory sessions for us. The exams are chill cultured but disciplined.

Faculty :

The faculties are very good. They are highly qualified & experienced. They are masters & PhDs. They are also very interactive. They are highly professional in their teaching. The standard of teaching is good.

Placement Experience:

The students join in large numbers in this college because of better placements only. They are aware of the same before admission. There is a placement cell called CGPC on the campus which consists of students from the final year. They take care of the students' placement needs. There are many companies like BAIF, Pradan, Kudumbshree, Rajivika, Bihar SRLM, MP SRLS, ORMAS, OLM, Antra, APF, etc. 100% of students get placed from all the courses. Some students of SIE go for establishing their own business enterprise and they do not sit for placements, some want to go for higher studies. Those who wish to get a job all get a job.

TISS provides assistance to students for their placements. The summer, lateral and final placements see participation from all the top brands in the country from various sectors. According to the 2020 placement report, one in every five students of the batch got a salary above 25 lakhs with the median salary of the batch being 20.25 lakhs against a course fee of 1.15 lakhs making it an unparalleled institute when it comes to placements with a very strong ROI.

Remarks:

Symbiosis School of International Studies, in short, was the biggest mistake of my life. It's not worth spending 5 lakhs. I've heard that they increase the fees by 10% every year. Apart from the hostel which is managed by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, nothing provided by the college is worth the money. The health centre is even worse. They don't check the patients on time. The medicines prescribed are either too strong or ineffective.
