Hostel life is pretty chill.very few restrictions.
Bikes are not allowed but everyone keeps them .

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the whole of chemical engineering there are about 15 faculty members. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhD's. Term exams are a little behind schedule but are expected to catch up soon

Class Size : 110Course Fees : INR 14000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For chemical, mechanical and a few other branches tata steel came with internship opportunities, they selected 10 over-all from the College and 2 from chemical. The stipend offered was 40000 per month for two months

Placement Experience :

The companies start coming in during the sixth semester. The highest package offered this year was 44 lakhs and minimum was 2.5 lakhs. The highest package was given by D.E Shaw , I don't remember the lowest.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is around 14000 per year as far as I can remember. If your rank is above 75000 in jee mains you can opt for ffe scholarship which provides around 40000 per year to the student. Their is a income limit also.

Campus Life :

The college library is pretty good. There are plenty of books to choose from. For sports there are three grounds to choose from . There are many clubs to choose from here at bit sindri. You have desk and chairs in your classroom

Hostel Facilities :

I dont know anyone who has rented a room outsider campus. Talking about facilities in the room , you get a bed, table and if you get lucky a chair. The meals are survivable. The registering process is pretty chill.

Hostel Fee : INR 10225 per year

Admission :

Selection is done through your jee mains marks. JUT then makes their own merit list on the basis of the jee marks for students of jharkhand only. And then you are allotted different branches. Three rounds of admission takes place. I don't remember, if a spot round had taken place or not. There are a few more colleges beside bit sindri to choose from .

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

Placement Experience:

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
