Remarks :

The whole campus was well maintained, the location is also very good, there is also parking facility if in case students travel on their own bike or scooter.

Entrance Preview :

No exam was need for the admission. I got the admission with the help of in-house quota as I did my 11-12th in the same college earlier. The cut-off for the in-house students are much less when compared to the students who comes for admission from other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As I was an IT student, practical sessions were more frequent compared to the students from other departments. Most of the time the theory topics were also taught in the practical sessions as it is very difficult to aa understand computing languages in a theory class.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are not provided. College concentrates more on placement rather than providing internship for the students to get experience which will help them when they appear for interview in the companies for the job.

Placement Experience :

To get placed there was a criteria and every student was expected to achieve that criteria and get eligible. Numerous companies came while the number of eligible students were very less so there was less competition in terms of placement.

College Events :

Festival was very famous. Students from different colleges were also allowed to participate. Campus area was big which allowed various events to take place at the same time. A name was also given to the festival, it is known as 'Maharashtra Day'.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees for my 3 year course was 25000 per year. It was a common amount among all the south Mumbai colleges for the B.Sc. IT courses. It was affordable as I lived nearby and there was less amount of money spent on travelling.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Scholarships are not provided as the fees was affordable.

Campus Life :

There was ample of opportunities to explore our inner talent as the festival used to cover all the areas in which we can explore our inner talent and enhance it.

Hostel Facilities :

No hostel were provided as it is very easy to travel and reach college through local trains or even B.E.S.T buses. Churchgate station was nearby while there is a bus stop which had stops for numerous buses just outside the college.

Alumni/Alumna :

All the alumini was very busy considering the fact that they all had jobs. So, alumini network was very weak and the interaction between the current student and alumini was very rare.

Exam Structure :

Labs were very frequent as they were given more preference. Exam schedule was used to be very less frequent as there was 2 unit test and then semester in each half of the year and every exam was taken into account during the final result.

Faculty :

Faculty was good. Experienced teachers were hired. The job of IT teachers is very difficult as during the practicals every student used to get different errors and to solve them and explain it is a huge task, but the faculty handled it in a very professional way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is somehow outdated I guess , they should change the curriculum it's my request as we are in 21st century and still the old syllabus is being taught , The problem is with the exam cgpa rule Seriously if I see them the curriculum is just for below basic level , the remaining amount has to be done ourselves with extra efforts of you want to grab higher Less theoretical more practical is my suggestion Difficulty is quite normal ...

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are strong, with students eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. Top companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs visit the campus, offering a range of roles in fields like software development, data science, and consulting. Last year, the highest salary package was ?45 LPA (from Google), with the average package around ?8-12 LPA. About 85-90% of eligible students secure placements. If I don’t pursue a campus offer, I plan to either pursue higher studies or look into entrepreneurship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the good thing about this college and this particular course is that many students like me will think and want to switch careers like i did from management to IT. For bca here they dont ask for maths or science background which gave me a great opportunity to explore this field. Again the teaching and management depends on person to person some were good some didnt worked out

During the 4th semester students are eligible for internship. Around that time companies come to the campus have some interviews etc. This year because of covid we were not able to participate in that.

Remarks:

It's a good college for bca across the nagpur city that I have experienced. The main thing in this college is it is very strict for students it doesn't allow the students to bunk lectures and go home in middle hours it's very seriously about that you need proper get pass for leaving in middle hours and the college takes it's lectures regularly. That's what I like about the college.thank you
