Remarks :
Yes there is only one they don't mind attendance because they want students to do work and study system so if any student's condition is not good so is to be changed by job so they want them to work hard for their life at the start and it's a negative remark but a positive attitude towards change
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is basically provided through colleges rules as they have created a rule for every students For each and every batch or any stream have to select the choice of what the college has provided.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes internship are a basic offer for students who has completed the graduation in each and every field or department so our college is also providing internship so commerce and science students gets internships in big MNC companies but I'm not aware of Arts because I have not heard about it.
Placement Experience :
Placements are there throughout the ending year for students those who have completed graduation and are been interned as well as hired through companies in MNC's so those who get good grades are first hired and after other are hired because they want marks not the experience.
College Events :
Mumbai colleges are full of pack events so as elphinstone college is also having events rolling the calender so only maharashtraustav is one of the biggest event in elphinstone as well as other colleges because other colleges students come and participate in this event and if they are good in their talent are gifted certificate and gifts.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Government versus private institutions there are very big difference in fees structure and low high charges are they I'm from government institute so they have very low fees compared to other private institute. There is approximately under 9000 for some courses and only few are very expensive nearly 15k per year. That's the feasible amount for admission.
Fees and Financial Aid :
I have not been loaned or scholarshiped because I was not in that criteria if any student's score good percentage so they get scholarship once you get admission you get your money back as a scholarship through governments. If loans are provided through banks then only we get because colleges fees are very low as compared to private colleges
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are there for degree students as well as junior college students. Labs are also there for each every batch who those has that subject which has practical as well so they are allowed to attend the lab for practicals. Sports meet up are there for university level tournament where they play and in university tournaments. All the accomodation for students in each field are very good.
Hostel Facilities :
In Mumbai most of colleges are having there own but elphinstone doesn't have but there is hostel for all government students where they can reside and all things are provided in that hostel and the fees are also not very high but cheap compared to paying guest and lodge etc
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes they are helpful and they seriously help those who ask them if they are capable of answering towards their questions they do help and provide right information. I have been through this for so many times and I have been helped.
Exam Structure :
Yes exams OmG they are good all are provided through Mumbai university and it's tough because questions are not repeated for 1 year so on it is. All papers for each department are provided though Mumbai university and students has to become tense because they provide. what are going to be coming in the exams are like dumb so it's tough little bit.
Admission :
I was not aware of admission but when I got to know about this college elphinstone one of the oldest college and seriously good college around CST. I went for admission and asked some senior students for admission process they guided me properly to the point and gave me advice how and when and what to be in the college so I went to mam and asked for admission and they gave me prospectes for admission and was completed in 40 minutes and I was happy to be part of elphinstones
Faculty :
As a student of elphinstone I have seen nearly 15-20 professors through out the year because I was not regular student but the Arts department are very busy in teaching and their habit is also good they are knowledgeable and very well known throughout the years.
