I am doing CA and I have chosen BCOM as a backup plan to gain some exposure. 1 teacher is teaching about 80-100 students. The quality of education is just average. As my account teacher's eyesight is too weak he cannot see properly. exam difficulty level is average

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is high as compared to other du colleges. although the student union is providing scholarships, they are assisting those who have come less than 4l per annum. name of the scholarship is SGTB Schorlship drive. However, they hikes fees by 10% and their hostel fees is to high around 1.5L

IN SGTB college they conduct only limited fest. but one of the best feasts is LAKSHARA . which is the flagship event of our college. There is 1 library in our college, and almost all the books are available. in the classroom AC and fans are installed on. There are a lot of college societies where you can work in extracurricular activities. .socities= !80 Dc, KCG, connecting dreams, dads, Encactus ect.

Admission

Yes, I had taken a cuet exam for the admission process. you can fill out an exam form on the cute smart portal and it costs around 1000-2500 based on the category and subject chosen My college has reserved 50% of seats for sikh minority students. cuet improvement- Conduct exam in single day only

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

All about Business Economics and SGTB KHALSA COLLEGE

The admission process was quite rigorous. The admission was on the basis of CUET entrance exam conducted at numerous test centres all over India. Life of an ECA student in SGTB Khalsa College.

The admission process was competitive but smooth. I gave the CUET exam to enroll myself in this college. As I pursued BA(Hons) Economics, Maths was a necessary subject. A total merit of 800 marks was formed, including Language(English) + 3 Domain(Political Science, Maths, Economics). The application form was on the CSAS portal of DU where most of the details were autofilled through CUET portal. Application fees was 250 for general and 100 extra for other quotas. I am currently over an ECA seat, Category- Indian Classical Music(vocal) in which 25% cuet score and 75% ECA score is calculated on the basis of which a seperate merit is formed. I scored 567/800 in CUET and 60/75 in my ECA trials. The original merit for non-quota students was around 740/800. The application process was smooth and 100% online which turned out to be really effortless for both colleges as well as students. But still portal faced issues of error a couple of times due to high traffic....Read More
