What Students Say
Likes
- The active societies at Hansraj College plan a lot of seminars and activities all the time, which adds interest to the educational process.
Dislikes
- I don't particularly dislike anything about my institution; thus far, it's been a great experience, therefore I have nothing negative to say.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this college in particular because of its reputation in the national circuit and the opportunities it offers for the future. Our professors is highly competent, and our tests are administered promptly.
Internships Opportunities
Every year, a number of organizations, including BJYUS, Bajaj Capital, and Decathlon, participate in our college's internship fair and give internships to students. We also conduct various different competitions in which students can compete and win internships.
Placement Experience
The placement program offered by our college has grown significantly in the last few years. The average placement for the previous batch was 8.2LPA, while the highest placement was 36LPA. Businesses from a wide range of fields come to our campus to fill positions.
Fees and Financial Aid
We still have to look for jobs and internships because this is my first year here. Our college charges very little, and I don't see anything wrong with the recent increases in tuition. Numerous scholarships, including Dell Aspire, a joint award from Hansraj and Dell India, are available to students here.
Campus Life
We have a well-maintained library with approximately 120,000 books, well-maintained classrooms with air conditioning, and a variety of societies that students are free to choose from. We haven't participated in any festivals yet, so we can't comment on that.
Admission
My enrollment process was lengthy and involved taking a moderately difficult entrance exam. Following the exam, we had to go through multiple rounds of counseling. I was able to get in during the first round. For our eligibility, we had to take exams in four subjects: math and accounting/English are required, while the other two subjects could be any subject. Only Delhi University has this regulation; no other university has it. All the subjects we choose to take in the CUT examinations must be covered in our 12th grade, else we will not be eligible to proceed with the counseling procedure.
