Remarks :

There is nothing bad about mmu solan. All facilities are provided to us It's such an amazing experience being a part of this college Overall it is a really nice college

MBBS, Since it was my dream from 5th standard ,I highly involve myself in all the practical learning,I focus on some research work also. Research on cancer has been done by our respected doctors

Yes the college do provide internships. We have interns in our college. They interact quite nicely with all juniors

Placement Experience :

On completing the course,placement is secure We can join any hospital of our choice..

Yes we have feats in our college Recently we are having our freshers named as chronaxie

Fees is affordable as compared to other medical colleges. It is 1040000

Yes distinction is given to scholars after first year. Students having 80% are given scholarships

Campus Life :

Yes we have our college band named as iris Sports activities are also there we have a basketball court,cricket stadium

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are neat and clean,hygiene is pretty well maintained,house keepers daily comes in the room. There are 2 seater room. Food is very good. In food also,hygiene is well maintained. Different varieties of sweets are given to i on a regular basis

Yes the college do provide proper platform for student alumni interaction,yes it contribute in overall development of college as well as the students

Faculty :

Highly qualified,cooperative,quite interactive,they teach everything in detail. Highly inspiring teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course literally takes your sweat out and make you a responsible and well managed individual. You are regarded as second God by the people. You learn how to take quick decisions in emergency and you also learn how manage hardships of life well.That's what I liked about this course. Talking about improvements in curriculum,then yes it needs to improved, teachers should be trained how to make students understand topic and not just read slides in college and how to interact with students in class.

My thoughts regarding Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla as a third year MBBS student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course if MBBS is very large as it has 19 subjects. The course is 5.5 yrs long in which the final year is internship. Due to its large syllabus the tests and exams occurs frequently. In this course the first year is pre clinical second and third year is para clinical and the fourth year is of clinical subjects. The teaching method consists of both thoery and practical. From 2nd year onwards we get to have the clinical exposure as we have our clinical postings in various departments in the hospital.
