- All types of clubs are there which really helps a grad in building up their personality and helps in socializing.
Dislikes
- Have to maintain 75% attendence for the whole semester.
- Campus are is only 18 acre, should have been a little more big.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Getting admission into this college is quite easy. The placement here is quite decent. Almost all types of clubs are functional and starting your own club is also quite simple. Fest and sports fest are also being organized. Faculty-student ratio is 1:30 Phd and associate-level professors. The teaching method is decent and the latest tech is used for providing study material. Exams are quite easy to pass and are held within 50 days.
Internships Opportunities :
-Getting an internship through college is quite rare and difficult .Still Tata power and somesoftware companies provide internship.Students cann get internship through online platforms quite easily. -Making a major project is mandatory for final year student.Students can also make projects via there respective clubs (college provides fund for it).
Placement Experience :
-Mainly from the starting of 7th sem student become eligible for campus placements. -All mass requriters come for offline placements.Beside this companies like Microsoft ,google,atlassian etc . Highest package for the year 2023 was around 45 lpa and avaerage is around 5 lpa. -90% gets placed . -My pla is mainly to get a job after my btech and after gaining some experience apply for MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
-Fee hike is usually not made and is fix for your term.Tution fees is 1,20,000 per year.And hostel allowances costs around 98,000 per year.If having a fee waiver seat academic fess amount is only 18,000 per year. -All govt scholarships can be availed if eligibe.
Campus Life :
-Name of annual fest is Epoque and is held around March and techfest is Innotech which is held around November. -Books can be availed through library or online portal. -Badminton,tennis,volleyball courts are avaible.Beside this a football and a cricket ground is also there. -Clubs like Uddesya,Ek Prayas,FOSSCU,Innogeeks and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
-A bed ,table,chair and a almirah .Infrastructure of rooms varies from hostel to hostel. -Mess food is quite normal . Menu does'nt contain non veg food beside egg. -Hostel are alloted through online portal.Hostel seat is alloted on the basis of attendence from 2nd year onward.Hostel fees including mess is 98,000. -PGs and room for rents can be easily availed near the college.
Admission :
Admission can be made either by AKTU counselling or through the management quota. To get a seat through aktu, the applicant has to sit in the counselling and for direct admission(management quota), the applicant has to take the entrance exam of the college and qualify for the aptitude round (the interview is held) after considering your overall performance (weightage of 12th percentage is also considered), the applicant is allowed a seat. The higher the rank, chances of getting a seat of computer-related branches are higher. The application form for Aktu counselling is available on aktu official website. Various rounds are held through which seats are allocated. For direct admission, the form is released shortly before the starting of aktu counselling. Reservation is given to almost all types of categories and for fee waiver seats no reservation is given. The process of seat allotment through Aktu should be made simpler.
