Entrance Preview :
BITSAT I got 285 marks in this exam. The cutoff for chemical is 280. At first I got Informations systems course, which after sliding in an iteration, pushed me to chemical.
Internships Opportunities :
My first Internship is JSW STEELS, VIDYANAGAR. Since, It is my second year and no much exposure to the chemical courses, they gave a brief introduction of all the processes involved in the steel making. My second internship is Tech Vedika Pvt. Limited, a software solutions firm. I was a part of a project which deals with Learning management system. This is fully computer related and highly useful. Stipend is 15000.
Placement Experience :
As a part of the placement rules, we are allowed to give only one attempt after we are placed in a company. So, I was placed in Inclusive Services and Technologies Private Limited.
College Events :
Each cultural groups in the college organize the different festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam etc. If they are common, that will be done on a larger scale and it will involve many people.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There will be Merit cum Need scholarship for each semester. It is based on the result obtained and the the income of our parents.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio is little biased. The percentage of girls are less compared to that of Boys. But taking into statistics into consideration, the relative strength of the girls are becoming positive over the years.There is no gender/cultural importance give. All are equal. We are given freedom to celebrate every party in the hostel (Of course, we dont tae advantage of the freedom).
Hostel Facilities :
Needless to say, everything is excellent. We have single rooms which are very neat and clean. Mess food is delicious. The fees are little high, but since the quality is good, that doesn't pose a high hurdle. mOne of the best Hostel experience is the intra

We BITSIANS are connected irrespective of their current location. We are active in Facebook, external BITS Portals etc. The Alumni network is one of the biggest in the whole world. We gets suggestions to everything we ask.
Faculty :
Chemical Faculty are highly experienced. They relate the courses to the daily on going events and help the student understand the concepts more clearly. Most of the faculty are from the pilani campus and no need to say, they are very successful in deliver
