Likes

The ambience and infrastructure, including the behaviour of the teachers.
The vast collection of books in the Library.

Lack of consistency of certain classes along with absence of teachers sometimes.
The campus pharmacy did not seem updated.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My selected course is Electronics and Communications. It is an excellent course and has a lot of possibilities heading into the future. There are about 10 teachers for a batch and they teach in very systematic method. The exams were conducted in regular intervals and were based on whatever was taught in class.

Class Size : 64Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students of our campus are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Cognizant and offer of upto 20 lakhs per year have been made. Currently 10-15% students are getting placements, but generally about 55% students get placed from this college. I plan to do M.Tech after this course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost for study compared to the the quality of education provided in the college considering that it is an autonomous institution is fairly good. The scholarship cell can be a little more cooperative.

Campus Life :

The annual fest Riviera is an experience I am looking forward to. There various of fests conducted by several clubs inside the campus. The Library is filled with books of every sort and journals of past students and personalities. Classrooms have standard lights and fans along with benches. Sports and other activities are always happening in the college. There are different societies like Taru Guardians and Samarpan to join and work with.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is very nice and safe for students of first year. Sports and activities are readily available for all the students. The food is excellent and filling. And the hostel staff are very friendly and helpful. The registration of hostel was smooth.

Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year

Admission :

The admission process was very smooth. Since I took the WBJEE exam I was given entry through WBjEE counselling. The application form and fees structure was clearly given in the website. The admission process can be improved if the admission can be done within a greater time span, maybe within 2 days

Placement Experience:

From fourth year onwards you are eligible for campus placements. Companies which visited in our colleges are Amazon , Syska , TATA etc. Almost of about 70 percent students are placed . Look if you will not study then you will not get job . College will give you opertunity not only once twice thrice many times but you have to prove your skills then only company will give you job. My plans after getting degree to get job and live happily . All the best .

Our college holds a very good record in placement. From 3rd students can apply for the campus placement and internship. Cognizant, Coco-Cola, Ronch, BT, Emami, Dell, IFB, and Accenture are the famous companies to visit our campus. In a year maximum of 150 students easily got offers from these companies. The average package is around 500000 per annum and the maximum is around 750000 to 900000 per annum.

I am the critic of my college.

Remarks:

I love my college. But It would have been better if the fees were lower. It does not charge any late fees if you are late in depositing the fees. Colleges help tremendously for a variety of scholarship applications.
