Likes

The campus , it's vibe, the greenery it has and the freshness it gives us and it's very safe for women as the security is pretty tight.

Dislikes

The administration, I don't know if the issue is in the whole college but especially the department of English 1st sem students are facing this attendance issues where the maintenance is very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have always wanted to study Literature and learn about the authors who have had helped in shaping out society through their books that influenced almost every part of us . The faculty is not doing us good to be honest. They are having issues with attendance and has said that the previous attendance is not being found, which is putting a lot of pressure on us as it is now a necessary to have above 85% attendance to received 6 marks in the exam . As of now we'll be having our 1st sem exams on December so I have no idea how tough or easy would it be

Class Size : 78Course Fees : INR 28000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have no idea about it as it's just me starting college. I would have helped if I knew all about it. We just know that we could do internships in our third semester but we have no clue about it as of now.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I feel like the fee structure is too high and it should've been minimize . I haven't applied in any school as it was not provided to us but it seems like we can apply it in the upcoming scholarships. No financial assistance as of now.

Campus Life :

There are lots of books in the library including syllabus and non syllabus . That's the only fun part for me. Classrooma are pretty good Though some of them are too small for any class that has a large number of students We have swimming that is being renovated. The badminton court is not that maintained Basketball is okay okay. There are dance groups , music groups , nss and many more If you're interested you can join

Admission :

You have to give the CUET entrance test . It's necessary. After giving the test DU will prepare the admission process online in their website as CSAS. As I have had reservation benefits as an ST, I have scored 620 in my CUET exam.

My dream college

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Experience of life with this college

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body.The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.

Our college has JEET placement Cell. JEET provides weekly updates on new internships. There are too many opportunities. However my course, Psychology doesn't have placement opportunities as such as Psychology is a complex field that has yet to be Specified in Masters.
