Affordable fee for middle class students.

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is sometimes not good .
Only one big event (Parivartan) happens in whole year.
College campus is small as compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college is giving almost same opportunities at low fee than some other colleges as compared so I opted for this. Faculty are pretty decent some are good and some are not upto that extent but that happens everywhere....

Placement Experience

According to my seniors, placement were good till 2021 but after COVID batch few companies backed off in 2022 . Average placement of CGC LANDRAN betch CSE is 4 lac. Which is not that good but it also depends on student cause many of our seniors got placements of 30 lac as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

College Fee was below 1 lac for BTech CSE till 2022 but after lockdown batch and visit of NAAC they have increased it to 130000-140000. Same happened with the hostel fee as well. But still it's less than many colleges giving same facilities and opportunities.

Campus Life

There mainly two big events happen in college i.e. Freshers party and one named Parivartan which is the main event in whole year. Sports activities are mainly inter-college cricket, basketball,handball, Football tournaments. Clubs are the most active thing in the college . Many technical, non-technical, sports, eSports, tournaments are called off by the respective clubs.

Hostel Facilities

There are mainly 4 boys and one girls hostel in the college . Among boys the hostel named sukhsagar is the best hostel and provides best facilities. Many girls of different colleges also lives in our girls hostel so I guess it's better than other's.

Admission

I got direct admission by just doing registration and application process. I didn't got any reservation or scholarship neither from college jor government. Some of my classmates also got admission through entrance exam conducted by college but they also haven't got any scholarship or reservation. But on this fee they were proving better placement till 2021 so I opted for this college.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.
