- Teaching was excellent, the teachers were highly educated and were very professional enough to resolve all our doubts.
- Library was my the favorite place in the campus.
Dislikes
- Due to COVID the last semester was rushed, and we didn't receive proper guidance for the end project.
- No placement assurance or job assurance programs were conducted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I have been interested in Maths since my childhood days. The faculty-student ratio would be 8:80; i.e 1/10. Well almost all the faculty were professors and a few (2) assistant professors. Very good teaching method giving day-to-day applications of the subject. Well, the exam was never late and always on time within 2 weeks after the completion of the syllabus. Difficulty level would be moderate and not so advanced questions were asked.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike was almost 1000 rupees more in my second year compared to the first year. I didn't see or hear anyone taking scholarships from the college. There wasn't any financial assistance given from the college. Moreover, there were not any campus jobs or any other type of job assistance programs from the college.
Campus Life :
No annual fests were conducted for our batch, however, there was a sports meet in the month of March. Farewells in June. National conference in November. Freshers Day in August. Library is very dynamic consisting of a wide range and variety of books and journals. Daily class attendance was taken in each class with each professor. Sports include Badminton, Cricket, and Table Tennis. There were social groups for youth whose students were from our college - ABVP.
Admission :
BSc should be completed in a relevant subject to apply for the PGCET exam for that subject. You can get the application form on the KUD website. I remember paying rupees 660 to apply for Mathematics subject in the month of June and the exam was in the month of July. Reservation Benefits are there for SC/ST (conditions applied) and for NCC and NSS students. As for improvement, the admission process was not smooth, I think clear instructions for the documents required could have been given beforehand.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics)
Too far and I didn't relocate in the end.
