Campus life cev

Dislikes

  • The fees structure which increases without any use
  • Number of programme conducted in this college are very less

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course as I was more into field works and construction. Tha faculty members are friendly and ready to help. The teaching methods are understanding and satisfactory. The term exams are biy tough to crack but with a proper study table, it's easy to crack it tho

Internships Opportunities :

Many famous companies including tech park, ulcc have offered placement from this college. Nearly half of the students are getting placed. A well run placement cell is currently active in this college ensuring proper placements .College hosts several internship fairs throughout the academic year. These fairs bring a wide range of companies and organizations to campus, allowing students to explore opportunities and network with potential employers

Placement Experience :

From 6-7 semester students manly get placed. College offers a satisfactory level of placements. Nearly half of the students get placed during there academic year. College offers placement training and interviews.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Talking about the fees structure, at the time of admission the fees structure was mentioned as 35k per year but later moving in to second year they're increasing the fees to around 42k which is not acceptable. And they have mentioned many gov scholarships but none of it was issued until now.

Campus Life :

Talking about the campus life, the programmes conducted in this campus are less. Tech fest and conducted once in a year or two. Otherthan that no arts or sports meet are conducted. Social groups, clubs, websites and all are not yet running on this campus

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are good and clean. Spacious enough and clean bathrooms. But the meal quality is not upto mark. Repeation of same food through a week, quality issues are there.hostels are affordable. Registration is done through college office.

Admission :

Admission process was completely online through keam portal. An entrance exam was conducted by state gov under keam ( Kerala University). The cutoff was around 80-90. It is comparatively easy to get in comparing to other engineering entrance exams.

Placement Experience:

The placements are more than decent as you get many opportunities to land a job before graduation. Provided you don't have backpapers which most companies wouldn't want in their candidates. Service-based companies such as TCS and Accenture take loads of students per year and pretty high-end companies visit too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
