Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty members are well-trained and decent. Faculty members are very supportive. The teaching methods of the professors are good. 3 mid-semester examination happens in every semester. Exam levels range between medium to hard and exams question paper checking levels are moderate.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 257000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are a lot of internship opportunities available in our college the main companies that offer internships are Amazon Accenture Cognizant. They mostly offer PPO whose CTC ranges between 15 to 18 lacs. During the internship, they used to work on projects which helped us on during campus placements.

Placement Experience :

The placement of our college is decent. A lot of companies like IBM Microsoft Google Hitachi Infosys Cisco Wipro have visited our campus so far. Some of the companies like Tiger Analytics Infosys Accenture provide pre-placement offers. During the 7th semester we are eligible for College placements and also for internships.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The yearly fee structure of a bachelor of engineering is 2 lakh 50K. The scholarship is mainly available for girls. Campus placements at this college is quite good. Some companies like IBM Microsoft Google Tiger analytics etc have visited our campus so far.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is not so great but good. There are a lot of social clubs and infrastructure in our college. One of the beautiful infrastructures of this college is the architecture building. Some clubs like GDSC HackNMIT are considered one of the best clubs here.

Admission :

The admission was through the COMEDK quota. You have to score a minimum of 60% marks in class 12 to be eligible for the COMEDK exam. There is no reservation for an outsider's student. Some reservations are given to Karnataka students. The admission process was smooth there is no need for improvement

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
