Isabella Thoburn College is a very god college. We get to learn many things from our lecturers.
Entrance Preview :
It was a common entrance exam for all streams students. It was not very difficult and i liked this process as this process of admission gives chance to every students to showcase their talents out.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is very good i would like to recommend to the students to take admission in this college and get the opportunity to develop your personality and build a good and excellent career. Along with the class learning there is also a an extra curriculum activities such as basket ball, sports etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Well this college does not provide any type of internship and also i had no such experience of internship
Placement Experience :
There is a job opportunity for the students. Big companies such as wipro infosys bajaj and many other companies visits the college every year and gives the opportunity to the students for working in their companies. Every year many students are placed in the companies.
College Events :
There are many events celebrated in our college. They are republic day, independence day, gandhi jayanti, fresher party, farewaell party, green day, baccalurate day, and many others. the event organised is very big and all the culture is represented.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure is feasible. The fees is not very high such that people cannot afford. The fees is less as compared to some of other college. the fees is less and can be easily afforded by the parents.The fees is affordable it is not very expensive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a scholarship offered to the students. There are many types of help provided to the students. This not a very expensive college.
Campus Life :
This is a girls college. Students are from different family and backgrounds, culture still all behaves as if they all are from one single family. All religions are given importance there is no partiality. There is a workshop held for all the students.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is fine and the mess food is also fine but we always had a complain relating to the mess food. We had much fun and entertainment in the hostel. Our warden was very nice. We love to be in the hostel and the most important thing we learn how to adjust in each and every situation and face the sitiation.
Alumni/Alumna :
Mostly all the seniors were very good and the most important thing is that there is no ragging done by the seniors. They just take cares of their juniors just like an elder sister.
Exam Structure :
The exams were not hectic. We never felt as if the exams were very difficult we had a good experience. We were alway cool minded during the exams as the lecturers always helped out and taught the lessons very nicely and cleared all the doubts. We did not face any problems during the examinations.
Admission :
I had to pass an entrance exam. After giving entrance a week later list was out, my name was in the third list. After list was out we had to report to college the very next day for the admission procedure. Admission procedure was as such firstly i had to get verified all my documents after that get the fee slip fill it and submit the fees in the UCO Bank which is also in the same college and at last we would get the roll no .
Faculty :
All the faculty are highly qualified. All the faculty are either NET qualified or a Ph.D holder They are much experienced as well as talented. All of them are full of knowledge we had a great experience in this college .All the faculty of commerce department were very loving and always took a good care of the students.
